We are a hotel located in Puerto Jiménez, Golfito, Costa Rica, with the aim of providing a great quality of customer service and a familiar atmosphere. Our name was inspired by the flora of our town, for us a leaf worths as gold, we value their presence and we know that there are many places which do not have this beautiful opportunity, for this reason, we decided to name our hotel ''Hoja de Oro ''. Our beautiful town has the amazing Corcovado National Park, which is considered one of the regions with the greatest biodiversity on Earth. Just 3 minutes away from our hotel, you can visit the local beach of Puerto Jiménez. In our town, there are many options for activities, the most famous: Sport fishing, kayaking, ecotourism, animal sighting, hiking in Corcovado National Park, artisanal fishing, bathing in our beautiful beaches and much more.

Strong wifi
Effective air con
Shared kitchen with free coffee and hot chocolate.
Location in neighborhood of restaurants and bus station.
I stayed in 2 different rooms: The bigger one was very spacious with window, even incl. balcony. The smaller one without window was just sufficient for one person; but both rooms at nearly the same price.

The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms are modern, with nice showers. I liked that our room had a hangar rod and plenty of shelves, instead of a closet. We never turned on the tv, but it's fairly new.
The main thing to recommend this hotel is the staff. They were just so friendly and pleasant in every encounter, and they are almost always around. Several of them spoke excellent English, and they were patient with us and our struggles in Spanish, which was nice because most people instantly want to switch to English.

This family operated hostel located one block away from the main strip was relaxing and charming. Our room was clean, had a tv, sizable bathroom, and great air conditioning. The breakfast was not in house, but was down the street at a local soda that provided a filling/tasty meal. We enjoyed relaxing in our room after long hikes. There was no hot water (which we were aware of prior to visiting) and the kitchen didn’t have a stove. We were able to make due with the rice cookers.

We arrived late into Puerto Jimenez and drove around looking at several "hotels." This is a small, out-of-the-way town on the Osa Peninsula. You are not going to find luxury accommodations here. This hotel is the best you are going to find. The owners and staff are extremely friendly. The hotel is spotless and everything is very clean. The room and bathroom are comfortable and clean. You can park your car in a locked parking next to the hotel. They gave us a ticket to eat breakfast the next morning at Soda Nora a small restaurant a block away. This is definitely the place to stay if you are in Puerto Jimenez.

We stayed two nights at the Hoja De Oro and enjoyed the entire tome. The family that operates it is very friendly, helpful, and are well versed regarding things going on in PJ. The common kitcn was pleasant as it provided an extra service.

Super nice welcome, already felt at home, they did my laundry, the AC worked very well and was quiet, it was a perfect night to recover from the heat before going back into the jungle. I loved the breakfast with typical gallo pinto and egg at the nearby breakfast place. It's all very close to everything, walking distance to bus station and even airport (8min). I came back to this hotel on my way out of Puero Jimenez and I really felt at home again.
There can be some noise in the evening and it is on street so there are car sounds, but with earplugs I still slept very well!

It was okay for one night. The room was clean and comfortable, although when we arrived the drains smelled a bit, but it was value for money. The staff were helpful and friendly. It is a good location for the bus. Here is another two hundred characters.

We were so honored to be the first international guests of this family-owned hotel (opened about a week before our stay, December 2018). It's a very nice place, new, very clean, with hot water and working air conditioning. Good laptop working area in the common space upstairs. Internet is 8Mbps which is pretty good for the area. A night stay comes with free breakfast which is a voucher for a local soda nearby.
We met the 2 sisters who own the hotel, their husbands, as well as their kids.
One of the daughters, Sofia, was our point person before and during our stay. We couldn't find the place at first (it was before it was on google maps), and she drove around town looking for us to drive us back. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have what you need, and have an enjoyable stay.
We had some long chats with all of them. We also came by a few days after just to say hi, they were all so nice.
We are so glad we met this family, they are super sweet, we wish them the best in this endeavor.

A family owned hotel that recently opened. Located super central in Puerto Jiménez, 200 m to the beach, close to restaurants, grocery store, bus terminal, and bicycle rent. The hotel is new, very clean and I felt super safe. My room had a very comfortable bed, quiet AC, shower with both pressure and warm water. The hotel has a shared kitchen with everything you need. The best about this place is the staff who always were very service minded, caring and ready to help with any question. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The rooms do not have a safe, all private rooms have air conditioning, there are sales that face outside the hotel and others inside the hotel.
The hotel is close to the street so many cars pass by and can make some noise.
Hola Gil, un gusto saber de ti, para responder a tu pregunta, si, si tenemos agua caliente suficiente para dos personas.
