Ohhhhhh, this was absolutely the cream of the cake of our Costa Rican Trip. Wildlife pure among us: frogs, bats, even snakes. Its near the National RainForest, where you can ride down and watch real scary action. The yoga time at the deck is amazing, this guy Chris os so kind and enjoyable emphatic. Advise: rent the boogies or fourxfour...

We can't say enough good things about our stay at Casa Tonka. It was everything we had wanted in our first Costa Rica experience. Remote, peaceful, comfortable, adventurous, and surrounded by jungle and wildlife. Tristan was very kind and helpful, and Steve and his dogs Tonka and Tucker were welcome visitors. Steve shared the history of the house that he...

I agree with everyone else that this is a must. We stayed longer here than anywhere in Costa Rica and I am so glad we did. It was beyond gorgeous and the wildlife and surroundings are just phenomenal. Casa los Suenos lives up to its name and really is a dream. With just the two of us, it was very...

We had such a great time staying at Casa Zephyr, one of the Osa Rainforest Rentals managed by Tristan Winters. This open air cabin provides the basic accommodations you might need, including an older fridge, basic dishes, one large bed, and two bunkbeds. The shower inside had warm-ish water and an outside shower had cold water. This place is wonderful,...

We had a fantastic time at Casa Rio Sombrero and we'll definitely return. Tristan was very friendly, thorough and super helpful from our first email to our arrival home. House/property managers Walter, Monika and Grace were gracious and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed. The house was glamping at it's finest. It was my husband, myself and our 2.5...

We had an amazing week at Casa Aire Libre. The jungle house is beautiful and add to this, light, warmth and sounds of wildlife and you are as close as it gets to paradise. Hearing no other sound than that of nature was a unique and truly wonderful experience for us. Stay here to get away from it all, to...

Osa Rainforest rentals offers several properties that are great for extended stays and families needing space and a place to call home in the Osa region of Costa Rica. The Osa Peninsula and Golfo Dulce are incredible places to visit for a week or more. My family stayed in one of the beach homes and we'll go back.

Looking to get off the beaten path? Casa los Suenos is your answer. My husband and I spent 4 nights at the casa, to best experience the rain forest and have access to Corcodova National Park. Assets: - House is just as described and what some would consider "glamping". The house does come with a fridge/freezer, working stove, bathroom and...

You may find this odd but I find a piece of serenity and calmness in two of my favorite activities; cooking and backpacking. So it may seem weird that one thing I enjoyed most about these two locations was being able to cook in an open-air concept kitchen and engulfed by nature rather than luxuries. This was the main reason...

We had such a fantastic time at Casa Tonka. It was exactly what we were looking for in Costa Rica - remote, open to the elements (and creepy crawlies), beautiful and peaceful. We spent every day exploring seeing every animal we had hoped for - including the many monkeys swinging through the trees above Casa Tonka. Tristan recommended Rolando as...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Come and enjoy a vacation beach home in a hidden tropical paradise with breathtaking beaches, world-class surfing in a peaceful, idyllic setting. Or stay at one of our riverside jungle houses in walking distance from several alluring waterfalls in the small gold mining village of Dos Brazos del Rio Tigre, located in the forest reserve of the world famous Corcovado National Park with a new park entrance coming at the end of 2014! Osa Rainforest Rentals are located in the Osa Peninsula, southwest Costa Rica where the rainforest meets the sea. It is one of the most remote, most spectacular and wildest regions in the country. One of the last places in Costa Rica to be settled, it has been dubbed Costa Rica's last wilderness frontier. Rich in wildlife, sparsely populated and until recently very difficult to access by road. Consequently much of the peninsula is still covered in majestic, pristine rainforest. Dominated by Corcovado National Park which protects most of the peninsula, the Osa supports more then fifty percent of the animal and plant species that live in Costa Rica. National Geographic has described the Osa as, "The most biologically intense place on earth". ... more   less
