When you find a good place to stay why go anywhere else? We are treated like family each time we visit. It's friendly, clean, safe, and quiet! There is a close family atmousphere with a beautiful garden and gazebo to relax in. There is parking which is locked at night with a night watchman on guard while we sleep. They...

First off, there was no breakfast as advertised in the big sign in the corner. There was no internet, the woman at the check in explained that 'that thing' was not working (pointing at the wi fi). On the other hand, it was an affordable place, with parking space, and with a good location (no beachfront though). It was clean....

We stayed here 3 nights in November '10 and really liked the place. Rooms were very clean, quite big, nice to stay at. We paid $ 31 for a double room. Location is great as well, just in the center of Puerto Jiménez. It felt like a safe place, garden is nice as well. Don't expect luxury but the place...

I thought I'd found a rare gem and it was only glass. Changed the price on me after a long distance quote that brought me here to begin with AND after I'd paid for the week I was going to stay. When I said I'd pack and leave the next morning she renegotiated for an extra $5 a day and...

The rooms are the cleanest and most comfortable we experienced in Costa Rica. Puerto Jimenez is a small town, with a lot of roosters, so you wake up early. That's not bad at all, because the only reason you visit this town, is because you want to go to Corcovado (one of the most beautiful places in the world). And...

We were looking for a small clean room, close by to where my friend Mike Boston who owns the very experienced and respected Osaventura Tour comapany resides in the town of Puerto Jimenez. We found that the accommodation was more than adequate in a clean room, with fan and the person who looked after us, Sadie, was there every morning....

This small and plain hotel corners the main road and another busy road. The 3 rooms were rented were a decent size, clean and had nicely tiled bathrooms. Room #1 is quite noisey due to the sidewalk beside the window, and the road only a matter of 2m from the window! The town of Puerto Jiminez is small, dusty and...

This may be one of the best bargains in Puerto Jimenez-clean and comfortable and a great price for a single person @ $21 WITH air and hot water. Off the main street, yet convenient to the stores and only a short taxi ride from the pier or the airstrip.

In Costa Rica, getting your day started early in the morning means you maximize your activity during the sunlight hours. But our 6:10am NatureAir flight from San José to Puerto Jimenez brought us into the city a little early (!) for hotel check-in. The friendly staff at Cabinas Marcelina invited us to sit and doze in the large thatch-roofed picnic...

This is probably one of the least expensive places to stay in Puerto Jimenez. My wife and I stayed here because the other hotels in the are were already booked. This place is very very basic and more suited to backpackers than anyone else. That being said it was very clean and the local family that owns it is very...
