Amazing

Rooms are small, but clean. Pool is great! Very quiet place and front desk very helpful and kind. It’s obvious that the owners take great care of the grounds. Beautiful silver palm tree by the pool and all the small touches on the property make this spot a hit!

Only if you must stay in Puntarenas for the night

-booking system useless. They do not check internet bookings. Phone before you arrive if you really need the room -very noisy, not from the surrounding streets or ferry terminal but inside as there are no surveillance at night and clearly some people do not need to sleep -do not expect anything more than a bed and a warm shower -expensive -no breakfast or food - only coffee -clean -next to the ferry terminal (2 min walk) -safe enclosed parking - fridge in the room I would not stay there again.

Worst Hotel Ever. Blue sea la pinta

I've never known such an anti British bunch of staff in all my life I booked this hotel as the web site said that there were 2 lifts and my wife has walking difficulties When we arrived we were told that we were in the annex across the road and the hotel was just for Germans The annex was small dirty and the air con did not work The hotel was 3 star the annex where we was it was more like a hostel 1 star. The staff were very rude My advice to anybody is not to book this hotel There is many 3 star hotels nearby that is 10 times better than this hotel My advice don't go to this hotel We booked this through on the beach Now seeking legal advice for not telling truth Nothing on web site to say you staying in hostel not hotel

Great family stay at Hotel La Punta

We stayed at Hotel La Punta last september. It was very impressive to find super clean rooms, It was evident this is an issue very well taken care of by the owners and staff. Great location and a very nice pool área. The compllimentary coffee station was a plus,very comfortable rooms. Totally recomended, looking forward to stay there again!
