Sorry , I do not understand how this place got any good reviews . This is the most basic accommodation, but fits the nature of Quepos....run down, grubby, but close to Manuel Antonio. So where do I start, the proprietress was good enough to show 3 rooms, some had only fans and beds and dingy overhead lightbulbs. Eventually she showed...

I am no snob when it comes to budget accommodations, but this place is not a place I would ever return to, no matter what they charge. It is in need of serious maintenance - the AC does not work well at all. You may have ice cold air blowing right in your face, or no AC at all. In...

Don't be discouraged by the totally faded sign, Hotel Ceciliano was an amazing find in the heart of Quepos (1.5 blocks from the bus station towards the greenery hill). We stumbled into this spot after finding other places too expensive, even without air conditioning. I'm pretty sure it's usually locals here, as there was only one other room in use,...

We actually checked into this hotel on accident, the bus driver dropped us off at the Ceciliano when our reservation was for the location next door but didn't realize it until long after we settled in! The hotel is quite inexpensive....2 beds in a small room with AC and private shower and toilet runs 30 bucks a night, but they...

there is a backpacker's place a few blocks away that is 10x better then this dump. No a/c, no private bath, louder then the bus station, way over priced, the only positive is it is downtown Quepos but that's it.

Nothing special, cheap but it really needs a renovation. The bathrooms are terrible. Ugly, old and very noisy street. The service is normal and the wifi didn´t work on the rooms. They don´t have kitchen so you can´t have breakfast there.

Quepos is a small touristy town. The hotel is located within easy walking distance to the touristy center and the bus terminal. The hotel has several rooms of different quality. This review is for rooms in the original (old) building behind reception. There was pleasant front yard with seating area. Although it is located on a street which can get...

“We stayed in #12 which was furthest from the road. Also, strangely they had a urinal cake hanging from the outside of the toilet which made a strong smell in the bathroom. I just rotated it inside the tank and the smell was gone in minutes.”
