Beautiful quaint hotel in a good location of Escazu. I live in Costa Rica during the winter months and i have stayed here several times. Views are amazing from the upper levels and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant waiters are super professional and the food is 5 star gourmet. I would highly recommended this quaint gem...

My husband and I booked this hotel for one night in November at the beginning of a 15 day trip but unfortunately due to the hurricane and horrendous weather we ended up grounded and stuck in San Jose for 3 nights. The staff were incredibly helpful and liaised with our tour company to make sure everything ran smoothly. The rooms...

As a frequent traveler I must admit that Costa Rica is not one of my favorite countries and San Jose not one of my favorite cities. The Hotel Alta Las Paloma's redeemed an otherwise unremarkable trip filled with sub-par accommodations. The property is BEAUTIFUL, like a modernized medieval castle, and the on-site restaurant served what was hands-down the best meals...

After spending a week+ near Manuel Antonio park and near Arenal Volcano, this hotel was a nice place to spend a last night before a very early international flight home at San Jose airport. The cool evening, beautiful view from the rooms, and nice dinner at the attached La Luz restaurant were a great way to cap off the trip....

Just spent a week at this magical hotel! It was beautiful inside and out. The queen suite that we stayed in was spacious. The balcony was wonderful and allowed partial views of the countryside. The bathroom was quite nice with an oversized shower area and wonderful toiletries. The beds were comfortable and the complimentary breakfasts were delicious. (make sure you...

Comfortable room,, friendly staff, a good quality breakfast (not buffet) and lovely garden. We didn't get to fully enjoy this hotel as we arrived late on our first night in Costa Rica, and had to leave soon after breakfast the following morning, but wish we could have stayed longer.

Overnight stop on arrival from London. A warm welcome to Costa Rica. Staff were lovely. Interesting and attractive architectural design to the hotel. Nice pool area with beautiful trees. Room was comfortable with terrace/balcony with views. Breakfast was very good and the waiter was literally running from table to table. Food and drink a little expensive. Great for a night...

We spent 2 nights here at the end of our 10 day Costa Rica vacation and found the beds to be the most comfortable of our entire trip. The building is beautiful, rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The reception staff were wonderful and very helpful. We had a room on the 4th floor with a balcony that looked out...
