Hard to believe this is a taranova site. Very dated. Internet is horrible. Not really close to a lot. If using just a base it is ok. The beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The condos were in an area that has a park across the road and seemed to be the hang out for people and was very noisy....

The Tarano-Villas Palmas is a nice place to stay. It is a bit dated, but comfortable. The English speaking staff was extremely helpful in ordering cabs and ordering food. They also had good suggestions about restaurants to visit. The floor could have been a bit cleaner, we got black feet walking on the tile, but that is a minor inconvenience....

This isn't a modern hotel, but it is a authentic style Costa Rican hotel It had three bedrooms, full kitchen and two TVs--one of them Flat Screen. It was right around the corner from a large modern Best Western Hotel and not far from a modern shopping area.

Just got back from this resort. It's part of RCI which is a bit disappointing only because I hope other places on their lists aren't like this place. I'll start with positive things first. PROS: It is spacious. They did have one flat screen TV downstairs. There were 2 full bathrooms upstairs where the bedrooms are and a half bath...

This was a great centrally located place to stay. The security was the best part. We felt safe as soon as we entered the gates. The unit was spacious and well equipped. All units were 2 bd 2 bath. There was no a/c but it was not needed at all.

I booked this resort through RCI at the last minute. For exploring Costa Rica it was a great location and Sol Tropical Tours, which is separate from the resort, was an amazing avenue for exploring the Country. The condo wasn't cleaned very well prior to our arrival, finding hair in all of the showers was displeasing. The towel count they...

We used RCI points to book a two-bedroom unit in this condominium complex. We were given a complementary upgrade to a three-bedroom unit with 2.5 baths. With fans in every ceiling, a fully equipped kitchen, two televisions, and free wifi, we were very comfortable. The property also has a small but lovely swimming pool, which we did not use. Everything...

Reading some reviews of this condo, I wasn't sure we made the right choice. But I am happy to report that we enjoyed our stay very much. We were picked up at the airport and brought to the condo. Check in was easy. The condo was very large and clean and had a nice "Latin" look and feel to it...much...

I feel like I have to write this because based on reviews, I almost didn't stay here, which would have been a big mistake. Our 3-bedroom condo was clean and very nice. People say it's not updated... but what does that mean? When we go to a foreign country, we don't want to stay at the Ritz Carlton-- we want...

My husband and I recently stayed at Villas Palmas for our first trip to Costa Rica. Overall the staff for Villas Palmas were very pleasant and professional. However the condos were quite dated and ours was smelt of food and stale everything. The beds were akin to sleeping on a wooden pallet at best and the sheets were just as...
