Our room (not really clean) had no window : so no daylight & no view but only an opening. That would be ok if there was at least a lamp and not just a naked weak light bulb hanging from the ceiling! Apart from that the staff was nice and helpful! Loud trains passing not far are heard during the...

Very nice small family run hotel with very helpful staff and service. The city centre and the university centre are in walking distance with very nice restaurants (5-10min walk). Great and lovely. We had the room next to the street but it was totally ok - not much noise. We all slept very well this night.

Nice hotel with great staff and service. The location is good but the place is noisy due to the traffic in the busy streets (honking trams and motorcycles). Rooms are very nice, spacious, clean, with a good ensuite bathroom with hot water. Breakfast is included and nice. Good place for a stopover.

We arrived late at night and there was somewhere to greet us. This is very much like staying in someone's home (with private room and bathroom). The family could not have been more friendly and helpful. The area is about a kilometer from downtown and a little less from the National Museum (worth a look). There are small shops for...

First get there. When I arrived the blue sign clear in the Trip Advisor photograph was not on display. My taxi driver had all sorts of problems, even though San Jose is built on a numbered grid systen of streets and avenues, just getting there. When we eventually passed I recognised the property and one of the staff was loolkng...

People is very friendly. Excelent for this category. Recommended. It has a beautiful backyard with breakfast tables (And some birds). You cannot pay with any card. Good breakfast included. The train goes nearby, so is a little noisy sometimes.

I travelled with my partner, we found this place on the web with a nice rate. You feel like home in this little hotel. We stayed only for a night in a very comfortable room with two beds, tv and a huge bathroom. María Luisa (Mother) was our host, a sweet lady who you can chat with for hours. The...

I have stayed at this B&B at least a half a dozen times. I live far from the city and need a place to stay when I come to go shopping for those things you can't find in the jungle. The family is super nice and accommodating. The B&B is conveniently located in the city where you can go downtown,...

I've stayed at Angels in 2007, 10 and 11....and enjoyed each time. The rooms are clean and comfortable, a great value, and there is a wonderful patio for breakfast, with pet parrots in cages chatting away. There is free computor use, free parking for a rental car. This friendly and interesting little family run hotel is highly recommended.

A Delightful family takes care of you in a safe little Gem of a B&B. If you are comfortable traveling in Central America, this family operated B&B will delight you. Personally home cooked breakfast served in a patio area tops off basic, clean rooms. Conveniently located between downtown and the University, 1 block from the bus line that takes you...

“There is a railway line that runs quite near and when the trains run they are quite loud. Maybe a room further back in building may be quieter. Also some rooms have refrigerators while others don't.”
