We stayed here for 2 nights at start of Jules Verne tour of Costa Rica. On arrival, we were given room cards which activate the lifts, but unfortunately the receptionist hadn't programmed anyone's cards correctly, so we all had to go back to reception. Bedrooms are very comfortable with a fridge, but mini bar was expensive. Food was of a good standard. We didn't use the pool as it seems to be where they hold a lot of private events. Only a 15 mins taxi ride into city.
Check in was good. Check out was fast. Room was spacious, clean and comfy. The view was amazing! We could see the park, being on the 9th floor. Breakfast was delicious. Walking distance from Soda Tapia and Mas x Menos.
Nice and clean. But air con unit was so loud it woke us up in the night. Also there was a conference on around the pool area so we couldn’t use the swimming pool for the whole of our weekend stay. 20 minute walk from the city so not too far.
We stayed here the first night of our 10 day trip in Costa Rica. The hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was a great size. We had a surprisingly good dinner at the hotel restaurant and had an after dinner drink around the pool.
Hotel Park Inn is heaven after, or before, a grueling overseas flight. Clean, very comfortable, good food--breakfast at the hotel was the only meal we had for over 24 hours as our flight headed out. Walking on the streets of San Jose around the hotel felt safe enough and there were some Soda options, a large park and a Supermercado within several blocks.
We asked for BlackTea with milk. We got a cup of hot steamy milk with a black tea bag in it. Obviously the tea leaves did not brew. We asked for another black tea bag to strengthen the tea. They then gave us a bill for almost C4000....nearly £6!!!! Just for extra t-bags. No more milk, no more crockery, no more service. This was for bar service as we were about to leave back to the airport. Eventually, after insist ing to speak to a Manager, they waived the charge. Radisson need to train their staff clearly on what Black Tea with Milk means with many British and European visitors.
We stayed two nights at the Park Inn. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and quiet. Comfortable bed and lovely linen. Cleaning was excellent. We were on the 10th floor so no noise from the street. The hotel has an attached underground parking lot which was free. A real perk considering you are right in the city. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit, eggs and a variety of bread. Good value. We had dinner the first night and enjoyed the food immensely. Only small complaint was the noisy air conditioning.
Good location. Large and comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Nice staff. Unfortunately Wi-Fi didn’t work at all. A/C also didn’t work in both rooms. Lot’s of noise and no effect. You can find better place to stay in San Jose
Great staff! Great breakfast! Great facilities! Great experience! This was a great stay overall. You can book this hotel with confidence and know that you're going to have a great stay. It is also well situated.
Good hotel with good location in central San Jose. We only stayed one night but can recommend it. Nice rooms, spacious, good size bathroom. Room service available and breakfast included. Breakfast not great but sufficient and plentiful. Reception was very helpful.
