I stayed here with my boyfriend on the last night of our Costa Rican vacation. I chose this hotel for the location downtown and the free airport shuttle. The hotel is very secure and gated, located within walking distance to lots of touristy sight-seeing and great restaurants/bars. We were just advised not to walk about at night after 9:30pm. The...

Arrived San Jose for a stop over before our journey to Panama. Safe, secure hotel with casino on property. Walked around city before dark. Some cool lil parks n small shops. Sidewalks seem narrow for all the ppl! Not sure how safe it is at night. Felt safe on hotel property .

My family and I stayed here two times. Two nights when we arrived and three nights before we left back to the states. I am pretty picking and a mother of two teen sons. My 80 year old mother in law has stayed here several times and recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised. I had read some of the reviews...

This hotel is located next door to one of the worlds most famous bars known for and specializing in purchasing "female companionship". That being said I was still appalled to see a constant parade of "female companions" and grizzled old men begin the check-in and fee paying process beginning each night around 9:00 p.m. You might also especially enjoy the...

I am a firm believer in honesty, when writing a review on Trip Adviser, and because I believe this to be important I expect the same from others. What I have to say about this hotel is probably not very complimentary but the facts are the facts. First of all, should you plan on traveling with children, do not go...

If you are in need of a fire alarm, and there are none - well this situation would be comparable to customer service at this hotel. First of all, lets talk about WIFI, considering I was there on business and WIFI is necessary. There was none at all in the room. I had seen online reviews with this complaint but...

Ok so...my mom and I had an appointment that was not too far from downtown and we were looking for a central place to stay for a few days. We usually stay at the Marriott branded hotels and are very familiar with Alajuela but this was our first time in San Jose so we chose an American branded hotel that...

I've stayed at the Sleep Inn Hotel many times. I am a choice hotels rewards member so I've been pretty faithful to the brand. I used to stay here using points because it took the minimum to stay at this location. If you are booking during a stay twice get a free promo, it is best to use the choice...

I actually liked being here better than the Holiday Inn. Only thing was it was hard for Uber to figure out which end of the hotel you were on because it's gated. Other than that I had a great experience there and the price was very reasonable. It wasn't expensive. The Holiday Inn was a lot more

Downtown San Jose can be a bit sketchy at times, but it was nice to be able to turn the corner and walk into a safe, clean, hotel that would fit into any US location. The hotel is in a good location for work downtown. Staff very attentive and professional. In the lobby a helpful person behind the desk to...
