This was a GREAT place to stay. The owner and manager are super friendly. They helped us arrange transportation to Arenal, made an excellent dinner recommendation (Cafe Mundo) and made themselves available to us. The room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast consisted of fresh fruit, tea, coffee, juice, and bread. You can also order eggs etc. a la carte....

This was our third time at Casa 69 and it never disappoints. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the beds are amazing, and Kurt and his staff are always there to help. From the street all you see is walls but once inside it is like being in a secret garden, you feel totally removed from the surrounding city. The...

From their nice driver picking me up at the airport to buying my colones back at the end of the trip in order to avoid the bank and cambio bandits at the airport, Casa 69 was a class act. Kurt Menn (owner who speaks German, Spanish, and English), his assistant James (Spanish and English), and the whole staff were service...

Everything about our stay here was easy. My request for a reservation was responded to promptly. I was able to pay before I got here via paypal, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Owner/Manager was quick to help us find bus fare and he even arranged pick up for us at the airport for less than prepaid rate. Very...

It is with regret that I must submit this review to Trip Advisor. Is it the foolish tourist or is it the unscrupulous business owner? I reserved a room online for the 17th and 18th of February at the Casa 69. Apparently, a credit card was charged for this amount on the day I made the reservation, as it was...

Paypal payment was received on February 14 and on February 15th two days before the guest’s arrival, receipt of payment was confirmed. The guest knew he had paid, I had confirmed receipt of payment and he never paid here in cash. Some people are crooks and like to get a free ride, no matter at what cost. Kurt Menn CASA...
