We stayed here in October 2015 and it was the best budget option we could find in Hauru Point. The place is very basic, but functional. The toilet block had a lot of showers and toilets and was fairly clean. The location is really convenient, just on the beach and there are picnic tables to sit on throughout the green....

Overall, I'd say this is a good and affordable option for young travellers. Pretty beach right by the property and a short walk from a market, roulette's and a few hotels that you can take whale watching tours form and rent kayaks/paddle boards. The owners were a little strange and won't help you out with anything other than checking you...

This is a really nice place to stay if you're on a budget. Great location right on one of the nicest beaches in moorea and the rooms are tidy. Good little communal kitchen which has just been renovated. Bathroom facilities basic but who needs nice bathrooms when you're in Moorea!! Hot water is available if you get in before other...

This is a rather basic campground that is currently undergoing a lot of renovation work. As long as the common areas and kitchen are under construction you probably should plan on having a car when you stay here. There are not many places to go in the area and no where in the campground so sitting in your car would...

The sunset was right in front of the beach, incredible stunning view! You can camp here or choose a room, please choose a room with fan. Shower room was good, I saw some comment complained about laundry, since I am a backpacker, I washed it by hand at the sink and hang my clothes outside the room, no problem. There...

We arrived at Nelson on a day of heavy rain. We had the tent but we decided to get a room. It's French Polynesia, so we were prepared to the high price. But... There's no kitchen! NO KITCHEN, he said "we are building the new one", yes, great and now? And no laundry. When I asked him he stared at...

We stayed only 2 nights at camping nelson instead of 6 nights. It is a nice place directly at the sea, but too expensive for what you get. We wanted to sleep in our tent, but it was raining cats and dogs and there is no kitchen anymore - not even a shelter. So to keep us dry,we decided to...

Please note - no kitchen/cooking facilities !!! No kayaks available.Totally agree with Sharissa j so the management has not lifted it's game since and any kind of help of advice seemed to be an absolute struggle for them. The grounds are great though lots of lovely green grass and well maintained. The little white beach at the front is adequate....

Was here in 1993 for a month. Was next door to the old Club Med. (no longer in existence) Hasn't changed, it was amazing again! I would recommend this to anyone. Inexpensive, you can cook for yourself, and close to everything. Easy to get around.

Very cheap and basic, right on the beach and with a relaxing meadow. Common kitchen, wide but not very well equipped. The manager is not too friendly. No excursion offered but you can go in the next door resort and take them there. Wi-fi free but only when reception is open.
