We visited 3 different islands in French Polynesia for our 25th anniversary trip but saved Taha'a for last; the most remote and romantic. Luxurious over water bungalows. Dining was good, service just average. Snorkeling the coral garden was spectacular.

This is probably the 30th Relais and Chateaux property that we have stayed in and this is the first time that the property did not measure up to their standards. There are some very good points to this property; it is beautiful, and remote. The spa is wonderful. Most of the staff are very nice. It is the attention to...

This was by far the most relaxing, gorgeous and incredible place on earth. The staff were very attentive to detail and very accommodating being that it was our honeymoon. The restaurants and food are delicious, the accommodations are perfect, and the pools, grounds, gardens and Beach are pristine. We opted for a Beach villa at the very far end (room...

We planned our trip with Lisa Corso from Tahiti legends. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend it. The cost was the same as booking on your own, but it was perfectly organized. We arrived at the Tahaa after spending 10 nights on a dream yacht catamaran sailing around the islands. (see post here). We were very relaxed and after...

We stayed at Le Taha'a for five nights in late December 2016 through New Years Eve, and had the most fantastic experience. Shout-out to LA-based Tahiti Legends for recommending this outstanding resort that otherwise we would have never known about. It is a Relais & Chateaux property (I believe the only one outside of Europe), and the quality of the...

We were lucky enough to visit French Poly & stay at Le Taha'a as part of our belated honeymoon in May 16 and overall had a good stay. I have to say up front that we were very unlucky with the weather, arriving in torrential rain & wind, which lasted more or less our entire 3 night stay, with the...

My husband and I stayed at Le Taha'a from 12/30-1/6 and it was nothing short of incredible. We stayed in a Bora Bora Overwater Bungalow, which I recommend purely for the privacy. We were staying there with friends and they had a regular Overwater Bungalow--the deck is not nearly as private since it looks out to a bunch of other...

Exceptional place! Very friendly and helpful staff. Outstanding breakfast buffet - I had a omelet every day along with fresh fruit and fresh fish and fresh made baked goods! Our group took a snorkeling trip (with Manu), a SCUBA trip and a day trip where we visited a pearl farm, a vanilla bean plantation and a snorkeling location. The day...

Small 5 stars resort that provides personalized services. Our over water sunset Villa was clean and the lagoon was calm making it a perfect place to sunbath on a float. Friendly services and amazing food. Highly recommended!!!

We stayed in an overwater Bungalow at Le Taha'a and enjoyed our stay. The water Bungalow is really beautiful and very spacious, we specially loved the huge window right in front of our bed offering a wonderful view over the water - unique! The water Bungalows are quite near to each other and therefore not very private. Also the shadow...

“The above water suites have an eastern view. Western suites offer a sunset view, but it's a short walk over to the sunset view beach.”
  • My favorite sunset picture.
  • The view of Bora Bora from the back deck.
