Recently spent 4 nights in beachfront unit. Perfect for what we wanted. Clean, tidy, roomy accommodation. Met on arrival at airport. Had booked for beachfront and was not disappointed. Could do with a little more crockery. Nice to relax on deck watching the sun go down. The ceiling fan in the room was very rusty and dusty when we put...

We were met at the airport by Rata and his grandson, both lovely people. They provided us with lots of information about Aitutaki whilst we drove to Sunny Beach and gave us lots of advice. When we arrived we asked whether the water was drinkable and they said they would advise we drink filtered water. They went home and fetched...

I had initially booked a studio unit for 5 days. However when Aroha met me at the Airport I was informed my unit wasn't ready so alternative accommodation was going to be given to me, at the price of the studio unit. To my amazement I was upgraded to the beachfront cottage which had a beautiful deck in front. The...

We booked a studio at Sunny Beach Lodge and Aroha was very responsive, answering my pre-trip questions about the island and booked us scooters ahead of time. she met us at the airport and upgraded us to the beachfront bungalow for no extra charge. upon arrival, she drove us to the grocery store so we could 'stock up'. the bungalow...

We really loved spending five days at Sunny Beach Lodge. Aroha met us at the airport and took us to the lodge where we had booked the beachfront villa. It was very clean and comfortable. She told us which shops would be open at the time we arrived - that was really helpful. We also met Rata and were impressed...

We were met at the Airport and transported to and from there by Rata who was very welcoming and hospitable. Nothing too much trouble. The units are clean and spacious, with adequate bathroom (shower), and well equipped kitchen. Its not far from the main town, and restaurants, dairies, and hire places close by. Apart from a cacophony of roosters starting...

Aroha greeted us at the airport with her cheerful smile. We were pleasantly surprised to be allocated the very front beach bungalow. Fully self contained and very clean and comfortable. The shower was great with good pressure and the bed was one of the biggest Ive slept on. Very comfortable and always gave a great nights sleep. Over head fan...

It was our second trip to Aitutaki. I chose to stay at Sunny Beach Lodge because our first stay was wonderful. The lodge is cozy, affordable, quiet and close to restaurants and store. Also Aroha (manager) is very helpful. I am not sure when I return the island, but I would choose to stay there again. They added several of...

Whilst the owners of Sunny beach Lodge are lovely people, we were initially disappointed with this accommodation. Originally we booked into the studio units and after the first night we decided to upgrade to the beachfront villa's, because we didn't like the studio units as the bed was really uncomfortable and the units were more suited to backpacker style travelers...
