We spent 6 lovely leisurely days here. Our simple chalet was a few steps from the lagoon edge and beside the pool. While the facilities were simple they were clean and adequate, We had breakfast & occasionally a lunch at our chalet but there were other lovely choices within walking distance. Highly recommend the Koru Café for lovely homemade baking...

Perfect location! Right on the lagoon, complimentary kayaks and paddle boards. Also affiliated with Wet and Wild, a fantastic boat operator for fishing, snorkeling, kiting etc Steve the owner is very helpful and accommodating, scooters and bikes for hire. You just can't beat the location!

We enjoyed our stay at Ranginui's and would return again. It is in a great location with a couple of restaurants nearby. They have a pool which was always clean, kayaks and stand up boards. It is basic accommodation with pit toilets. The toilets did not smell at all. They provide a electric jug and microwave plus an old hotplate....

Fantastic location on the island. Be prepered for some suprises like an eco toilet without a flush or if you happen to switch on air conditioning the owner will shout at you that if you do not turn it off immediately he will charge you extra fifteen dollars (no mention of it whatsoever in the room). No sunbeds at the...

We stayed 3 weeks here and loved every moment. Our cabin was right on the lagoon so every morning you could wake up and see the water. The water front cabins are self catering and great to cook up a meal while you are there so you can just relax and enjoy the view. During the day grab a kayak...

We had a fantastic 2 week stay at Ranginui's Retreat - its not the Ritz but the view is to die for. We spent many evenings looking out across the the lagoon from the verandah of our little cottage. The cottages are basic - ideal if you are an adventure traveller who spends the day outdoors and just need a...

We thoroughly enjoyed the 9 days we spent at Ranginuis Retreat. The rooms were clean and tidy and well serviced. The Retreat is in the perfect location close to the best eating houses on the island, with the most fantastic swimming and kayaking just outside your door. This is not 5 star accommodation (and doesn't claim to be) but it...

If your not out on the lagoon cruises this is a great spot to spend the day using the kyaks and paddle boards. Theres a great cafe up the road for brekky and lunch. I even picked up a big salad...
