We were looking for accommodation on our way to Wrangell National Park and was recommended this place by someone at the gas station. The gave us couple of options and glad they suggested us this gem. This little nestling of cabins is off hwy 1 in Gakona. It's not much from the outside and the cabins are in need of some general updating and maintenance. Price wise, you can't beat it. It's true it's not the ritz but I believe this little hidden gem is the heart of a travelers trip up the highway. Awesome hosts, great free cinnamon rolls, sweet dog, rabbit cages that the kids enjoyed. I'd give these folks my business over one of the big company places any day. Traveling up the Richardson highway we found ourselves in need of lodging in the Glennallen area. The visitor center did not have much to suggest as the closest place was not well recommended.
