If you like the nature and see live bears then Alyeska is your place. On the other side there are few points not good. - room service is quite unsatisfactory and late in the action: I was asking some shower gel and they brought it only after 2h - The forniture is pretty old: orribile noice coming from the fridge...

Upon visiting Alaska for business, we decided to try the Alyeska Resort for the two nights we had on our own. We were not disappointed. The staff was very nice and the wait staff in the places we ate were even better. We would've preferred better weather but what can you do?! We were able to have a bus pick...

Stayed a couple of nights in Anchorage and then headed to Alyeska. Beautiful hotel with gorgeous scenery. We were visiting off season (on purpose) so the tram wasn't running and not all of their restaurants were open but we had a really great stay. Great food and the service was always helpful and friendly. I would recommend Alyeska and look...

We stayed for one night and our timing wasn't good. Based on other reviews and information about the hotel, I had higher expectations for this stay. Our room had double beds and not much extra room. The aerial tram was closed for maintenance after ski season and was scheduled to reopen two days after our visit. Front desk staff could...

Stayed 2 nights at Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. Nice but not the Alaskan experience we wanted... so we moved to Alyeska in Girdwood... about 45 minutes southeast of Anchorage and an ideal jumping off point to explore Whittier and Seward. What a delight! Hotel staff is superb. Food was great... Halibut Caesar Salad in the bar was perfect. Cannot...

The location and structure are inspiring The rooms however are getting dated and need to be redone The staff was friendly and accommodating Unfortunately when we stayed over Christmas we were unable to eat dinner at the top of the tram at 7 glaciers because of a storm They were able to bring a limited menu with the staff down...

Visited during the first week of May. Unfortunately the Tram was closed which was one of our main reasons for going there. Was told it closes every year for one month for maintenance. Hotel has a nice pool/ hot tub and sauna. Also has a nice fitness center. Rooms are average. Comfortable and quiet. One restaurant was closed as it...

It's all about location!! The hotel is nestled in valley surrounded by mountains!! There are a some nice trails around the hotel. The room was clean, bed comfortable, and had a small fridge & microwave. My only complaint was, after traveling all day from Ohio and being extremely tired, we were awakened by a pounding on our door and the...

The locals love Alyeska too! When residents make a point to stay at local hotel you know its good! The pool and hottub are very relaxing and always kept clean. Our room service food orders tasted amazing, were well priced and plentifull. Great weekend!

We had a wonderful relaxing weekend at Alyeska. It was sort of a honeymoon with kids. Everyone was kind and helpful. I had accidentally made my reservation incorrectly which they fixed and after hearing we had just got married, upgraded our room for free. The kids loved the pool and had fun.
