I went to Anchorage in March to visit my fiftieth state and spent two lovely, relaxing nights at the Hotel Alyeska. It was worth every dollar spent. The hotel is very relaxing and you can organize every imaginable excursion and outdoor activity from here. I loved that the pool, which is quite gorgeous, had adult only swim both early in...

Well for a luxurious four-star hotel that was described on the website I was not impressed. I am now staying at the Microtel in Anchorage and I actually prefer it (just for the comfortable beds ,the high pressure shower, premium movie channels and free breakfast ). Alyeska was nice but I wouldn't call it luxurious. The shower had very low...

We did Xcountry sking and the snow was great, good variety of trails and the two days we were there it was perfect weather. We also took the tram up and the vistas were spectacular. We rented XC skies at the resort and the staff was very plesant and helpful. Hope to return again in the future.

This is the best trip for a hotel, skiing with family and friends and food. The best place to both ski and relax. The day and night skiing is fantastic - A Bar, Sitzmark, 7 Glaciers, Sakura, Spa. Just walk out to the Tram, very affordable and everyone had a great time.

While I initially thought my husband was crazy when he had the idea to come to Alaska in the winter for part of our honeymoon, our stay at the Hotel Alyeska was absolutely wonderful. We came for 6 days/nights for skiing and other winter exploration The hotel staff was always courteous and we had some great meals, especially at the...
