I stayed at the Driftwood Inn with work colleagues last month. We were absolutely amazed at what we were provided. We stayed in one of the seaside lodges which was extremely spacious and comfortable and had amazing ocean and mountain views. Our rooms were large, very clean and exceptionally well appointed. In room coffee, large, comfortable beds and all the...

Well, if you are looking for funky, historic, charm and character and good value (inexpensive) stay in the original building where you can cozy up by the rock fireplace and read or catch up on email. If new, modern is more your style, get one of their rooms in the new building across the street - where you will find...

Was a little nervous when I saw the RV park out side and then the inside hallways were just lacquered plywood, but the little bunk room was quite cute. There was enough room for me and a friend to keep our stuff out of the way and the beds were very comfortable. I'm pretty sure we were early enough in...

Stayed for 2 nights in the main building last summer. Have stayed before, but it's been a few years. Hotel is charming, feels like home when you walk into the lobby. Rooms are clean and the descriptions on the website tell you exactly what to expect when you arrive. Rooms downstairs are small, but who comes to Homer to spend...

My family came up all the way from Pennsylvania to visit me. I live in anchorage, but homer alaska is one of my favorite places to visit. We were in a pinch to find a place to stay and came across this amazing hotel. The people were very nice and even helped us book a charter for halibut. Very comfortable...

We stayed one night last week at the driftwood in. The staff was extremely accommodating. I had booked our rooms for the wrong day but they fixed everything and were able to give us even cheaper rooms! The rooms were exactly as described, very small but very clean and comfortable. We were so happy to find a pet friendly place...

Can't beat all the places you can walk to from this place. Beach, restaurants etc. only have stayed in the captains quarters room. Super small and outdated but clean and cozy. I keep going back to the same place.

Frankly, I selected this hotel because it was the cheapest I could find with a good review. The room I took was their smallest. It uses all the space saving tricks you might find on a boat or an RV and I thought it was quite fun. It is clean, quiet, and right next to the beach. After that first...

What is important to me is a VERY clean, safe, comfortable, well heated place to stay with Internet services and an excellent shower room. Secondly, what I like at this place is the respectable staff, access to the beach and wonderful merchants. Driftwood Inn has all of this! If you are traveling from outside Alaska, this would BE the place...
