McKinley cabin huge 5 in our family but could have brought more! Chef Robert made wonderful breakfast for us! Jimmy was unable to guide but 21 year old Keenan mirrored the bosses last year effort with everyone catching with a total of 8 Silvers and the biggest Dollie Varden I ever saw over 21 inches so we had to release...

July 2015, I took my wife & sister-in-law out for a trip to pursue the Kenai King Salmon that run in that time of year. We selected Jimmie Jack Fishing to be our guides and we couldn't be more pleased! Jimmie Jack's staff were helpful, professional, and lent their expertise throughout the entire experience. Our actual guide, Adam, was great...

We made many memories with our daughter and son-in-law in a once of a lifetime family vacation. The staff was friendly and attentive, the surroundings were beautiful and comfortable and the experience is one we will not forget. The fishing was excellent with knowledgeable guides, great boats and exceptional fishing. We will be eating lots of halibut and salmon for...

This fishing trip was a repeat for me. I took my oldest grandson with me this time to give him an adventure to remember. My trip last year was great, and I hoped that it would be nearly as good for my grandson. Boy, was I wrong! It was even better! From the best of the best lodge managers, the...

The lodge is 2 stories with great rooms on both levels and the upper level has a full kitchen for guests to use if they so desire. Each of the great rooms has a tv, magazines and books. Outside are grills for cooking your catch, a patio...

Jimmie Jack made sure my first trip to Alaska was amazing. Going with the Silver Combo Package was great because we got to do several different types of fishing both in the Kenai river and ocean and were able to see much of the Kenai peninsula. The guides were all very knowledgeable and excellent hosts. They made sure we had...

Two days of epic fishing: Day one was on the lower Kenai. We started the morning with a late sunrise worthy of a canvas. Scott put us on a salmon superhighway that caused all four of us to limit out by 10am. I think we were the earliest boat back to shore by a longshot, and we were followed by...

This is not really a review on Jimmy Jack's Lodge but rather a review of Jimmy Jack Fishing, a fishing guide service run by the same Jimmy Jack. After a pair of very lean days fishing for Silver (AKA Coho) Salmon, off drift boats in the Kasilof River we decided to give the Kenai River a try on Saturday, the...

Jimmie Jack's was top notch from top to bottom. The lodging was great. We stayed in the Trapper's cabin, a secluded peaceful spot to relax after a busy day fishing. The continental breakfast was incredible consisting of pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, and sausage served hot and ready for you every morning. We nailed the fish on 2 of...
