Excellent Tour. Informational, with a great boat ride and wildlife viewing. Walking tour, with upbeat, local guides. Then, a delicious Alaska Boil fit for a king. Fantastic tour and take all visiting family and friends on this tour. I never tire of a boatride for a great private meal at a quiet lodge. Surreal!

We left the ship really early, only 6 people on tour The young man that was our guide "Jalapeno" was great ,attentive and knowledgeable . We saw several humpbacks, then went to the lodge. We fed the adorable deer, went for a short hike to see the large red cedar tree very nice. A couple had a large seafood feast ready... More

The Silverking Lodge was awesome, we spent the afternoon there as an excursion on our cruise, walked the boardwalk through the trees and ate an outstanding seafeast of shrimp, crab, clams, mussels, corn, potatoes and sausage.

Talk about getting there being half the fun! Flying over the glaciers with fantastic views out all windows. Landing in the lake and then having an all you can eat salmon bake done fresh on an outside grill. Take the trail back to the small waterfall. Definitely worth the small hike.

I am a vegetarian and focused on knowing and enjoying Ketchikan. I assumed, no food for me and will enjoy scenic beauty that would be similar to south KTN, relied on my i-phone and intentionally left camera behind. I did not google or read any reviews on SIlver King Lodge and the sea feast (didn't make much sense to a... More

We visited the lodge through an excursion on our cruise. It was the highlight of the trip! The hosts were friendly, the food was great, the views were breath taking. A nice mix of a boat ride, hot meal, and walk in the rain forest. There were 13 of us traveling together, half were kids and we all equally enjoyed... More

We came to this lodge as part of a shore excursion from our ship. First we went out on a small fishing boat towards the lodge. Along the way, Logan (our guide) pointed out various wildlife. We stopped at a Bald Eagle's Nest where the crew brought bait to bring the birds down closer to us. We got some fantastic... More

This is a fantastic place. I had never been to Alaska before and what a great first experience. The wildlife was amazing. We saw Orcas, porpoise, and bald eagles. There were 9 resident deer that you could feed and pet that hung out at the lodge. The lodge was just perfect and the staff was even better. The most polite... More

Our time in Ketchikan began at the Silverking Lodge. After a drive from Ketchikan to Clover Pass Resort and a boat ride to Grant Island, we arrived at Silverking Lodge where our morning's excitement began. It was a beautiful sunny day as we walked the rainforest boardwalk trail and saw the majestic trees and lush plant life. The boardwalk had... More
