Spent two nights at the Cape Fox before our departure to our fishing lodge that we visit every year. Same as last year, except they had our reservation this time, however, they weren't sure if I paid both nights or the fishing lodge paid for one night. The vernicular wasn't running and the shuttles were very busy. This is a...

I spent $250 (Five Star Price) for a Two Star Room. The hotel room was okay at best. But the bathroom tub didn't drain very well and hairs were frequently found. The tram to get up the cardiac hill to the lodge from the town center was broken down and has been down for two years, I was told. The...

Matt D Thank you for the review of our lodge. Our tram has been out of service for about 6 months and was originally custom designed in Russia 30 years ago. It is back in operation, you must have just missed it. Unfortunately when updating something like this it is very time consuming and the safety guidelines were our top...

I visited Cape Fox Lodge for the first time this past week after having been visiting Ketchikan on business travel over the past 11 years...it's the first opportunity I have had to stay with them and I am impressed. The lodge rooms are well appointed, the view spectacular, the food amazing, and the staff were incredible. Can't say I will...

Location is excellent on a hilltop and the view is if the town below. The best location in Ketchikan with a good size of rooms. We found the mountain view rooms better than sea view. In sea view the main view is the dock and not the sea. Take a room on higher floors as the lower ones get a...

Rajan, Thank you for staying with us over your vacation. We do have some amazing views and the best location in town. Im glad to hear that our staff went above and beyond in order to check you and your family with an early check in. It is unfortunate that our Tram was down during your stay we did start...

The Lodge was a wonderful place to stay while we waited for our cruise ship to "catch up" with us. We loved the location, the room, and especially the décor. The staff were absolutely wonderful. After I mentioned that I did not want to sit in the lower section of the restaurant because the chair made my back hurt, they...

We are always treated so well here! I took my daughter on date here today and after I chased her to the bathroom I signed the receipt and left without actually paying. After a nice facebook message about my mistake I was told "Happy Mother's Day!" Instead of being upset with me, they treated me! Thank you Heather Guthrie and...

Stayed in late April before the start of the cruise ships and all the tourists. Great location and views. Trail leading to Creek Street is not too steep and well lit and maintained. Staff was very helpful and everything was very clean and well kept. More of a lodge feel than a hotel.

I was here in mid-April, 2 weeks before the cruises ships start to arrive. During tourist season (May through September) this place is very busy according to hotel staff; we had a very quiet and pleasant stay.

Very disappointed! My party of four arrived excited for the World Tour. We sit down and it took our waitress...
