Where is the 10 star option?! Captain James and his team were fantastic! We visited port lions lodge in early September for DIY Sitka blacktail deer, silver salmon, and some impromptu bear viewing (and unexpected up close encounters). The staff were awesome- genuinely caring, friendly...More

Went with a bunch of college buddies - we graduated from the University of Wyoming around 1976 so this was a 40th reunion trip. Kodiak, AK - what's not to like? We had great ocean fishing - halibut was the best. We arrived too late...More

My husband who would like to be but is not a fisherman, even though we live on the Pacific coast, in NW California with 6 rivers to choose from, wants to go fishing and stay at this place. We have NO fishing gear, and will be coming on the ferry with our motorcycle next summer for my 60th birthday. My question is: Does Port Lions Lodge supply fishing tackle or must we bring our own? We are RIDING from California to AK and it will take us about 2 wks including all our stop overs with friends along the way. Then a 10.5 hr ferry ride to Kodiak. So just wondering. This place looks amazing. Also there are no costs mentioned by anyone. I think I saw $1400 for a sight seeing and fishing trip for a day. Is that in the ballpark? Do you have a web site? Thanks for answering!! --Fionnuisce
