Rooms were clean, pool was nice, breakfast was great. Very rude girl at check in, dressed and behaved completely unprofessionally. The same rude girl let a whole line of people checking out wait on her to make herself breakfast, which she forced ahead of a group of senior citizen tourists to do. Gentleman working the desk, however, was wonderful.

Bland for sure and clean..but, no bar, no anything, a kitchen but not one plate, glass cutlery or utensil. This place is not that cheap either. The young man on the desk was pleasant 😀 If you have an option stay somewhere else.... Photo of empty shelves!!

I stayed at this property during a recent business/ fishing trip. I stayed 3 nights and was satisfied with the hotel and the service. Given the area this is a very nice hotel. You're not going to find a luxury resort in AK. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean and the towels were new and clean. The walls...

Hotels are all about hospitality and service. I am not complaining about the facilities here, but the absolute cluelessness of the staff from A to Z. There was an issue regarding the reservation for the guy checking in before me, and had got such a run around that after 15 minutes he finally asked if they had a room or...

we went to this hotel during 4 nights. We enjoyed to be there, the hotel is close to the Kenay river and to all local facilities. We were there for salmon fishing and we had direct access to the river.

This hotel is clean, but very bland. There are no pictures on the walls in the rooms. Rooms are decent sized. River is close by. Breakfast was basic free breakfast choices. It just has no personality.

Beautifully appointed hotel, good for the price and friendly staff! Breakfast was adequate with a nice variety of traditional foods [waffles, cereal, fruit]. Room was large with separate kitchen/eating area. I judge hotels [after the basic cleanliness etc] by the towels and the pillows. This hotel is first rate for both!! Front desk staff gave lots of advice that was...

My family and I stayed here for one night last weekend. We had a softball game the next day bright and early and needed a hotel near the fields. The Aspen hotel was the closest. We didn't arrive till later (around 7.) The front desk check in personnel we're not very accommodating or, well, nice. We needed two rooms close...

We had a very nice, very clean room. No AC but we didn't really need it, just the open window cooled the room at night nicely. We had a nice kichenette that allowed us to eat in our room after a long day of sightseeing on the Kenai. And we even had a Moose in the parking lot next door...

Soldotna is a small community and this hotel fits in nicely -- clearly a great choice for tourists to the Kenai Penninsula. The front desk staff is friendly and the rooms are more than comfortable. The breakfast buffet seemed a bit on the spartan side -- breads, cereals, waffles -- so I would opt for one of the nearby diners....
