This place has so much hype I expected heaven on earth.. It was not terrible but I perhaps should have found a way to manage my expectations. The rooms are spacious and have a fire place- which was a blessing as the place is freezing especially in the morning and night. The food is the biggest let down at this...

We stayed here for a couple of night as a place to just chill and relax, as advertised in their website. The grounds were lovely, and it was a place you could really relax. It seemed nice halfway option between the more expensive resort options around Naro Moru/Nanyuki and more budget options in the area. Having stayed in a decent...

It was a cozy little hotel that we picked up after our Mount Kenya climb. It served delicious food. The bar was so nice too. There was a Hash party with finished next morning. A small river floors at the back.

Hotel gave the best service and atmosphere possible. The old kolonium days are still in the wals. and makes the lodge home cosy. The lodge are located in a spot suitable to start hiking or bikriding in the minth Kenya distrikt.

We used this lodge as a base for our trip up Mount Kenya to nearly 11,000 foot elevation. Grounds of lodge were very nice with many birds to observe. Our driver up the mountain was excellent. Food was good but not exceptional. This place has seen better days but is still worth a night or two to enjoy this part...

I stayed at the lodge for a long weekend tracking in Mount Kenya recently. The lodge have an old fashion style / feel in beautiful surroundings and I found the staff friendly and very courteous. The rooms were cosy, clean but can do with a makeover. The madras in the room I had was very old and uncomfortable. It was...

Last week I was fortunate enough to be back to the lodge 20 years later. I was not disappointed and I will be back again. The lodge is a masterpiece of country cottages and rooms surrounded by beautiful gardens. but what captures my imagination is the mountain experience and days excursion. The staff at the lodge are very helpful and...
