We stayed for two nights in November, unfortunately the weather was terrible with poor visibility but we still managed a very good trek . The hotel employs local people who were very helpful, we had no issues ordering food etc.
The menu is good, we...More

We stayed here for one night, three of us friends. As all the reviews said, the place is simply stunning and breathtaking, we spent a while taking photos and hours in the pool even though the weather was freezing, the pool was nicely heated.

This is a special place. Skip the chaotic downtown Sapa and go straight here.
The view, the atmosphere and the food is simply top notch. It is best to travel during Autumn when the green fields turn yellowMore

It will be hot. Their rainy season is ending now and it will get hotter. All rooms has aircon so you are fine there. When hiking remember to bring an umbrella for the shade. The hotel has one so you can use theirs. But you will be sweating a lot. There is a fantastic pool at the lodge where you can spent the afternoons recovering after your walk. If you visit fansipan (mountain) you can have a cooler experience as it is so high up. Have fun it's an amazing place. Book a guide for a hike. We used a guide called Chong which was amazing. You might want a more remote walk as the red daoh women outside the lodge will follow you around which can be annoying. We did a walk to nam Chang where you walk for yourself in the rice fields which is epic. Planing your time is important as the lodge is remote.
