We visited Basar Otel as a family of four with two young boys. The accommodation is comfortable and suited to a relaxing summer holiday. The facilities are immaculate and well maintained, in particular the sizeable pool that is kept pristine. Perfect for kids to splash in the small pool or learn to swim in the main pool. The restaurant which...

Should have reviewed this super hotel much sooner after our 10 day visit last September. It was every bit as good as reviews had suggested, terrific value for half board and a chance to try Homestyle Turkish food. The location is very convenient being a level walk into town at the quieter end, and passing a useful supermarket on the...

Five of us, grandparents, son and teenage grandchildren have just had a wonderful October half term break. The bedrooms are large and comfortable and everything works well. Breakfasts are buffet style with an enormous range of delicious and healthy produce. The pool area is lovely. Nights are only disturbed by hooting owls. The staff are very friendly and most concerned...

Absolutely loved our stay at Basar Hotel. The staff were so lovely and made us feel extremely welcome. The owner even drove us to the Doctor for some medical help. Great room, cleaned everyday with fresh towels and hot water. Great location, right in town with cheap, quick boat trips to mud baths, ancient city and turtle beach. All round...

I found this hotel on line and maybe would have thought twice about booking if I had known in advance that I was going to be the only guest frm the Uk and for most of my stay the only English speaking person as the majority of guests were German and Dutch. However, I had a great holiday here and...

I can confirm all positive things that have been stated below already. Plus, the quality of food (buffet in the morning and evening) is excellent: low fat, variety and healthy choice, delicious ingrediences! Absolutely top! I felt so healthy! They could even spontaneously help me out with some home-made (!) glutenfree bread! I never had this before in any hotel!...

I have stayed at the hotel Basar a number of times over the last 5 years and every time I go it is better than the last. The people who work there are always friendly and helpful. The food gets better with every visit and the owner could not do more. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the pool...
