The Aydos (booked through Simpson Travel) was amazing. The setting was superb and surpassed all expectations - we will definitely return.

This is an absolute gem of a small hotel; sufficiently far from the tourist bustle of Dalyan but by no means remote. My wife and I spent an extremely enjoyable two weeks there in July and would heartily recommend it The siting is most attractive...More
The Aydos may not have spacious rooms and luxurious bathrooms but what it does have far outweighs any star rating. 3 things that really rate a hotel room for me are cleanliness, reliable quiet air conditioning and comfortable beds. 3 out of 3 so far....More

Yes, definitely Sue, it's ideal for the lone traveller; the staff are excellent; professional yet very friendly, nothing is too much trouble and they will go out of their way to look after you. I've been coming here with my son for 12 years and I know of other single people who stay here. The clientele are English and is made up of all ages, mainly families be older people. It's a haven of tranquility in an idyllic setting by a beautiful river with a lovely circular bar and serves delicious food. It is 15 minutes from the town which men's it's quiet but you do need to be prepared to walk or hire a bike or taxi to get to the shop/restaurants. Dalyan itself is a very safe small town. The only drawback to staying hereis that the price is no cheaper than if you were travelling as a couple -it is currently managed by Simpson Travel. Happy to answer any further questions you may have, best wishes, Sandie Tanner-Smith.

Nothing more that I can add to the other two answers except to reiterate that nothing is too much trouble for the staff. One guest when we were there walked with two sticks and was helped on and off the boat. However the soft sand on the beach might be tricky. The boat trip alone is worth it though.
Just one thing- the rooms are quite small. Fine for sticks but would probably need to leave the chair outside.
