I stayed here with a group of friends and sons and it was the perfect base for all our activities over a long weekend. The accommodation is clean and tidy and of good quality. A range of lounge areas plus a cafe and various activities for guests (spa pool, pool table and table tennis table). The people running it are...

Nice hostel for affordable price near Tongariro NP. Hostel facilities were clean plus you get 200mb wifi every day. You can also rent a bike and do the Old Coach Road track. And if you're here in winter it's much more crowded that in summer because of the ski slopes.

Great staff and accommodation! It is a nice place to stay at and close to mt ruapehu. There are beautiful bike tours to do around ohakune (you can hire bikes in-house). Also the tongariro crossing is close and the shuttle pics you up in front of the lodge. Would definitely recommend it!
