What a great place to stay! With a beautiful location in Ohakune, Station Lodge is the perfect spot to relax after a long day of hiking. The rooms were very clean with fresh linen provided at the beginning of the stay. The bathrooms and showers were conveniently located and very clean also. There is a great vibe in the kitchen/living...

The service of this YHA is amazing. i'm been locked out of my room for 3x (very forgetful of my keys) but they are so nice, instead of getting upset with me. Lovely people. Rooms are good, clean and comfortable. A bit noisy due to the thin walls Toilets are good, water is hot, well equipped and pleasant with hand...

A friend and I had one night at Station Lodge and really enjoyed the facilities. The host is very friendly and helpful and goes the extra mile (ride into town) which we really appreciated. Sorry we did not get time to say thank you when we left but everything was great. It was warm, cosy and clean, has a nice...

We're two backpackers from Germany and totally enjoyed our stay at the lodge in Ohakune. The bedrooms and facilities were clean and the common rooms so comfy! It was a pleasure cooking in the nice kitchen - besides there was free coffee😇 But although the signs say there's free wifi for YHA members the wifi just lasts for 3 hours...

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, sheets and duvets excellent but pillows too flat. The room was really clean after the staff had to return to clean the room, once we had arrived The bathroom was adequate but the shower range was poor The individual spa was good, but the step up into spa was very high....

I have stayed here many time and have nothing bad to say about this place! Always stay in the dorms and are always warm enough in the middle of winter! Kitchen facilities are great! Fridge is big for all your food and little cubby holes for the non-fridge food. Good location, not too far from town and a nice walk...

Spent a night in a two bedroom chalet with a private ourdoor spa pool. It was so much fun for all the family. Lots of clean towels, washer and drier. Lovely clean, warm, modern. Excellent! Great kitchen facilities with dishwasher and drying room for wet mountain gear. Walking distance to the Powder Horn.

I arrived to be told by the owners that i was booked into a dorm room. I had the documentation to show otherwise. They had never heard of this site but their records showed it booked through another booking site. They were rung and couldnt shed any light on the problem. My document showed that I had paid more than...

Hi 687bernadettej, We are sorry to read that you didn't enjoy your recent stay with us. However, as you stated in your review "booking site booked the wrong room” You booked through a 3rd party website Amoma.com which is actually a sister company of Needitnow.com. The confirmation email we received from Needitnow will all your details was for a Dormitory...

Booked in for two nights stop over from northern explorer train. As we got off train spotted it only 200 yards along track! Be aware there are several goods trains throughout night. But on plus side view of the mountain whilst in hot tub more than made up for that. Two bed (sleeps 6)chalet with full kitchen, drying room for...

Rooms are thoughtfully designed so although modest size, but quite easy to move around and comfortable too. Kitchen is just lovely, clean and tidy yet has so...
