As a professional underwater photographer and videographer, dive guide James and his wife are absolutely awesome! James knows the wrecks very well and his wife always greets us coming in from the dive. they took very good care of my girlfriend and I

A faultless ten day stay at truk stop with genuinely friendly, knowledgeable hosts James and Corki Benito. The lodge is comfortable with great food and a terrific range, especially considering the remoteness of Chuuk . The diving was expected to be good but in fact went well beyond our highest expectations. So often on dive trips abroad you are plonked in...

This is my second time visiting Chuuk after getting my Open Water Certification here last year. Chuuk is not a place you come for the beautiful white sand beaches or little streets lined with cute restaurants. Weno is a rough town but the diving is second to none. Truk Stop is a great option when you want to explore some...

Excellent Hotel, excellent diving, Good staff. This accommodation is far better than any live aboard. Its great to get your feet back on the ground after a fun days diving, James and Courtney are very accommodating, barbeque was great! Will definitely return. There's a lot to see and experience in Chuuk. We also think this place is great for groups....

Upon Truk Stop, you will find a compact parking lot since the main road next to it is under construction; but you get off and step on a cemented floor that leads you to their reception desk. Young and beautiful faces usually await the customers; ready to check reservations. The hotel is an elegant in style building with the history...

You stay at this place for one reason and one reason only, to dive legendary Truk lagoon, so I'm only going to review the dive center and staff and not the hotel or restaurant. If you want to know about these things, ask me. We had 12 people divided into two groups: one doing recreational and one doing technical diving....

Considering you are in the middle of the pacific and limited with option, Bill and his family has done a great job at building this place. The room (we stayed in E3) was spacious and clean. A bit outdated (TV did not work) but than again who cares, you come here to dive...(or at least we did). The bakery is...

I stay in this hotel for six days. The hotel room is clean, and nicely decorated. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Restaurant menu have good choice and price is reasonable. Grocery stores within 3 minutes walk. Consider Chuuk is a small atoll in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, the hotel owner has done an excellent job to...

First of all the dive sites. There is nothing else like this in the world. If you like deep wrecks drop everything and go now! They have and are degrading, but they are still stunning. Just go. Seriously - but maybe not dive with this operation. Next the lodging. It is what you would expect for micronesia. It is old,...

There are not too many choices for hotels in Chuuk which is why this place no doubt keeps going but I'm glad to say this will be my last stay here. The re-opened L5 is a lot better with better facilities, staff, service, value and is where I would recommend visitors to stay and straight across from the hotel is...
