We stayed one night in Talkeetna and were fortunate enough to have booked here. The cabin was pretty roomy, it ad two queen beds and a recliner, a small kitchen with dining ate and a nice size bathroom. The cabin was extremely clean. The beds were very comfortable, and the shower probably had the best "hot water" we experienced in... More

What a clean and delightful cabin! We slept 6 comfortably. The facilities are modern and very clean. Appeared recently renovated. We stayed in Hunter. Very close to Talkeetna city center. Highly recommended. We will stay here again next time we can come visit!

Six of us were on our own guided tour of Alaska and the small town of Talkeetna made our list related to its good views of Denali Mountain on clear days. Sadly, it rained the days we were here. Luck of the draw. However, we still enjoyed walking around town, a bit of shopping, drinking and dining. Chinook Wind Cabins... More

We booked a cabin to accomodate 6 people, and was very pleasantly surprised to find a roomy, very clean cabin with comfy beds, clean bathroom, and kitchen facilities. Hard flooring makes for easy clean surfaces. Crockery and cutlery all good. Very helpful owner. Would recommend. After staying in grubby accomodation in anchorage we were delighted to find somewhere so nice... More

The cabins are clean and spacious with a kitchenette. The owners are very informative and accomodating. We stayed two nights in the middle of a nine day trip. We stayed 2 nights, and did not get housekeeping service while we were there, but there were plenty of clean towels in the bathroom to start. The kitchenette has a full size... More

The town of Talkeetna is very small and quaint. These cabins fit right in with that scene. There's nothing really special about them, I think, to justify the price of these cabins. Alaska summers have about 18 hours of daylight to them, and it would have been helpful to have some type of room darkening curtains in our cabin. It... More

The Cabins are perfectly located on the edge of town. It's an easy stroll to town for shopping, dining or excursion vendors. The cabins are small but clean with comfy beds. The front deck provides a nice relax spot to chill. June the manager is very nice and accessible as you desire. We utilized the small kitchenette for lunch and breakfast.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. All needs were met sufficiently. Within walking distance to town and shops. Jane was very helpful with information and suggestions. We were there for Talkeetna's 100th Anniversary which included a painted moose parade and auction.

Talkeetna has a great Alaska town vibe and a view of Denali, when she decides to show. The Mountaineer Visitors Center where everyone trying to climb Denali needs to register is in this town. Denali Brewery has a presence as well as lots of boutique shops. The Roadhouse is a great bakery/breakfast spot to start your day. These cabins are... More
