Wonderful week in the Bridewell Lodge. Very clean with lovely furniture and fittings throughout. The whole site is maintained very well, all grass neatly cut and hedges trimmed. The food in the Manor House was excellent and good value. The waitresses and bar staff all very friendly and make you feel very welcome. All static caravans and lodges well spaced apart, not like some sites which cram in as many as possible. Would highly recommend a visit to this holiday park.

We have stayed at Llwyngwair Manor many times with friends in couples and even attended the most beautiful wedding here, however this time we decided to bring the children and our friends also brought their children for a break over New Years. Llwyngwair Manor did not disappoint! With it’s beautiful and well kept grounds there was lots of exploring to do. The children enjoyed the park and when it was raining there was indoor bowling- the adults took this more seriously than the children. The mini golf was my youngest sons favourite activity and George has already asked when can we return. My eldest son was happy he could chill out in the room and watch Netflix when the younger children were too excitable and my daughter was happy that she could still get a great wifi connection.
The staff at Llwyngwair are extremely welcoming and accommodating, they even accommodated our party in tables of 6 at really short notice for food on New Year’s Day- which we were very grateful for.
We are always made to feel extremely welcome by Meleri and her team but the whole team has a nothing is too much trouble attitude and are really friendly and chatty.
The rooms are spacious and clean. I love the open fires in the bar area and the food is really hearty home cooked food, you really couldn’t ask for more.

We are really looking forward to visiting Llwyngwair in the future however I have the feeling the children are not going to let us leave them at home now they have had such a great time!

Stayed here camping for 3 nights. This site has to be the most tranquil setting I've ever stayed in, right on the river bank teaming with wild life it was so peaceful. I stayed with my fiance and two daughters, we all couldn't resist a paddle in the river, it was safe and shallow in parts with fish and friendly ducks which my daughters quickly made friends with. The toilet facilities where clean and the showers cubicles were roomy. The showers were hot with only one setting. Unfortunalty I couldn't shower my youngest age 3 they were too hot so the bowl had to do. The mini golf was very good and all the different holes were interesting it was a little pricey especially if you were hoping to have a couple of go's.
I can't comment on the food at the manor as we didn't eat but the drinks were good and reasonably priced. The camp is located well we managed to drive to New quay which I highly recommend and fishguard which i also recommend. The little town Newport is pretty with a couple of shops and a spar for bits and peices.
The only crib I would have was there was no welcome on arrival so we just drove on and found our pitch our selves and there was no sign of staff to just check to see if you were OK or needed anything. Some people would like that but i do like a welcome and to be shown were things might be for example the laundry bowling and walk paths to the nearest town ect. I expect it might be because of covid with receiving a email about the number pitch we were allocated. This certainly wouldn't put me off returning. It was a beautiful camp site.

We had a lovely stay at Lwyngwair Manor during the summer holidays. We stayed in our tent up in the tenting field and some friends stayed in the hotel accommodation.
The toilet and shower block was always very clean- the staff did a very good job at keeping on top of keeping the facilities clean and Covid safe. The information we received before arriving regarding checking in and COvid policies was excellent.
We had meals in the Manor a few nights during our stay. We enjoyed the menu and the meals were tasty. The eat out help out was great too. Although we stayed during a busy time, the way the staff had setup and adjusted seating and tables due to Covid was great. The staff were always extremely helpful and polite, and always on hand to help. We had a few questions during our stay regarding some local attractions and the staff were always knowledgeable and helpful.
Our friends were happy with their accommodation.
I’m sure we will return again.

We searched a few places around Newport to hold our wedding ceremony and reception and this place seemed the best for its setting, style we wanted and price.
My partner had the bridal suite and a number of friends and family booked the other rooms where they had a pre-wedding night including an evening meal and drinks.
The next day the function room was set-up ready with our own DJ, table decorations and flowers.
We had the wedding in the function room with the registrar conducting the ceremony with 50 guests and, after photos in the stunning grounds, we had drinks and an evening meal served by local street food caterers, the Bearded Chefs, from the Green Shed Cafe in Haverfordwest.
Meleri and her staff along with the caterers did an amazing job serving all of our guests, the crazy golf kept the kids amused well in to the night and the breakfast the following morning was really good.
Everyone had a great time and the fact that it was all accommodated at the same place made it even more relaxed and special.

We have just returned from a wonderful week staying at Bridewell Lodge. The lodge was a great size for a family of 4, very clean and the kids were over the moon at having a tv in their bedroom and an en suite!! The lodge has plenty of space outside too, not overlooked by any other lodges or caravans so nice and quiet.
The site itself is set in beautiful countryside and maintained really well. We had a meal in the hotel one night which was lovely and not too expensive.
The beach at Newport is lovely and only a short drive away, in fact I don’t think we found any beaches that weren’t short of gorgeous!!
Thank you for an amazing holiday, we can’t wait to return!!!

We had our wedding here in this beautiful setting last weekend. The day couldn’t have been more perfect and the staff were amazing throughout. All the guests kept commenting on how beautiful the venue and grounds were. Meleri was fantastic with fantastic, quick reponses to my many questions and requests and tried to accommodate everything we wanted around the current restrictions. The day was broken up for the kids by a few rounds of crazy golf which they loved. I recommend Llwyngwair Manor to everyone. An amazing experience throughout. I want to do it all again!!!

We booked this hotel as if mentioned it was dog friendly, well if you call eating your breakfast and evening meal in a small side room with no heating as such on and not much atmosphere then it was t really dog friendly, we felt more like second class citizens because we have a dog. The bar area has hard floors and the wide room we were out in has carpet🙈🙈. The bar area has nice lighting and warm as doors were shut, the side room was like bleak house.

The accommodation was suitable but it would have been nice to sit in the bar area and be made to feel welcome instead of cast aside.

We would t come here again with or without a dog.

I stayed in the Winllan suite in Llwyngwair Manor, the suite itself was amazing - much bigger than we thought, and the rooms were absolutely spotless. The Covid regulations they have in place made us feel really safe and secure - having been a bit nervous about this, it was so reassuring to have things in place to accommodate this. Set in such lovely grounds as well, I’m already looking forward to my next trip!

What a lovely couple of nights away in the campervan at Llwyngwair pitched next to the river Nevern. Llwyngwair has all amenities you need and is a perfect base for discovering this amazing and beautiful part of Wales.

This location allowed us to adventure inland and to the coast for walks, cycles seeing the amazing historical sites in this area.

The food and drinks with the outside set up were amazing with the covid measure in place very well managed. Staff were friendly and always extremely helpful and polite. We also really like the new addition of crazy golf👌

Would highly recommend Llwyngwair for a great stay whether you want to walk, cycle or just relax to the sound of the river 😎
