We loved it at Llwyngwair Manor! We were camping, and stayed on the campsite where the beautiful shallow river, with fish and ducks, trickled right behind our tent, and the gorgeous woods on the other side had tawny owls hoo-hooing through night - dreamy! The staff at the Manor were lovely and very attentive, the food great (for when we didn’t fancy cooking ourselves (plus an indoor dog friendly room, which was handy for the pooch) and also had board games and cards to play); the adventure golf was brilliant fun (looked new, and lots of lovely surprises along the way); loads of space for the kids to bike around the site, little play park on the lawn out the front, whole site is well kept and looks beautiful. Camp pitches had loads of space, we were pretty much left to our own devices, which was nice. The shower/ toilet/ utility area could probably do with a little update in the camping area, but certainly didn’t detract from our whole experience at the Manor. The whole area around Newport is just stunning - so much to see and do, fantastic restaurants, and everyone so friendly - we will def be back!

Stayed here for a last minute camping getaway for the Summer Solstice. What an absolute gem of a place! Well maintained site, clean toilet block and hot showers. Close to several historical sites including Pentre Ifan, Castell Henllys and Carreg Samson. Relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff in the bar at the hotel. Loved pitch 43 -Thank you, we'll definitely be back!

We searched a few places around Newport to hold our wedding ceremony and reception and this place seemed the best for its setting, style we wanted and price. My partner had the bridal suite and a number of friends and family booked the other rooms where they had a pre-wedding night including an evening meal and drinks. The next day the function room was set-up ready with our own DJ, table decorations and flowers. We had the wedding in the function room with the registrar conducting the ceremony with 50 guests and, after photos in the stunning grounds, we had drinks and an evening meal served by local street food caterers, the Bearded Chefs, from the Green Shed Cafe in Haverfordwest. Meleri and her staff along with the caterers did an amazing job serving all of our guests, the crazy golf kept the kids amused well in to the night and the breakfast the following morning was really good. Everyone had a great time and the fact that it was all accommodated at the same place made it even more relaxed and special.

This is one of the most beautiful properties I have stayed in. I feel the property undersells its caravan park facility. The grounds of the manor house are grand, expansive and superbly maintained. The small river that flows through the grounds, the backdrop of the hills, then greenery - everything is perfect. We were very satisfied with our caravan as well.

We have stayed at Llwyngwair Manor many times with friends in couples and even attended the most beautiful wedding here, however this time we decided to bring the children and our friends also brought their children for a break over New Years. Llwyngwair Manor did not disappoint! With it’s beautiful and well kept grounds there was lots of exploring to do. The children enjoyed the park and when it was raining there was indoor bowling- the adults took this more seriously than the children. The mini golf was my youngest sons favourite activity and George has already asked when can we return. My eldest son was happy he could chill out in the room and watch Netflix when the younger children were too excitable and my daughter was happy that she could still get a great wifi connection. The staff at Llwyngwair are extremely welcoming and accommodating, they even accommodated our party in tables of 6 at really short notice for food on New Year’s Day- which we were very grateful for. We are always made to feel extremely welcome by Meleri and her team but the whole team has a nothing is too much trouble attitude and are really friendly and chatty. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love the open fires in the bar area and the food is really hearty home cooked food, you really couldn’t ask for more. We are really looking forward to visiting Llwyngwair in the future however I have the feeling the children are not going to let us leave them at home now they have had such a great time!
