I've stayed here a few times over the years and it really is one the highest quality small hotels/restaurants with rooms - the location, rooms, fittings, facilities, are all superb, and capped by the friendliest and most helpful of family teams. The breakfast, too, was a wonderful start to my journey northwards. I can't praise it enough, and look forward...

Recently enjoyed another 2 night stay at the Cnapan . As welcoming and comfortable as always but with newly furnished and stylish bedrooms/bathrooms. We had dinner on the first night - truly delicious and top restaurant quality. Sadly (for us) Judith will be retiring at the end of the year so dinner will no longer be offered at the Cnapan...

I actually cannot believe how lovely Cnapan is. Mike and Judi were so friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were amazing - I have never tasted better flavour - all locally sourced. Apparently the evening meals are equally fabulous - you need to book in advance. My room was immaculate - every detail thought of. Radio...

A thoroughly delightful experience from the beginning with the warm welcome from Mike and Judy with tea and Welsh cakes in the garden to the final breakfast before our departure. The evening meal and choice on the menu, the excellent service and ambiance deserve awards. Our room was tastefully decorated, spotless and the many extras: tea, biscuits, bottles of water...

We have been using Cnapan for years when we visit our relatives nearby. It is a lovely homely place to stay and convenient for all local facilities and sites. The breakfasts are to die for! We highly recommend it.
