Cnapan is a fine listed Georgian townhouse located in the historic centre of Newport/Trefdraeth which, in turn, lies nestled where the beautiful Preseli Hills roll down to meet the spectacular Pembrokeshire National Park Coast. It is a house with a “lived-in” and loved feeling and from the generous hallway with its traditional oak Welsh dresser crowded with old family treasures, to the spacious pretty bedrooms, you will immediately feel at home in this comfortable house.

A warm, friendly and beautifully done out guesthouse in a lovely area. I agree with all other positive feedback. Really couldn’t fault our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Fab evening meal in Secret Garden Llys Meddyg. Wonderful atmosphere with all the twinkly lights and fire pit. Amazing food too. Golden Lion was excellent The broad bean burger was delicious! Newport has it all - even got up close and personal with a beautiful little seal while walking the stunning coast path!

Spacious and very comfortable room & bed, perfect breakfasts, welcoming, attentive and accommodating hosts. The jenga-like limited parking worked without a hitch. We stayed for 3 nights and look forward to returning.

We stayed for three nights and I have to say it was absolutely superb. The attention to detail from Michael and Judith was first class. The place is spotlessly clean, the rooms tastefully presented and Oliver's breakfasts were to die for. I am at a loss for how many superlatives I can think of for Cnapan, but don't just take my word for it...Visit them, You won't be disappointed!

Cnapan Bed and Breakfast is truly a Jewel in the heart of Newport, Pembrokeshire. Mike and Judith were so friendly and welcoming, their home was beautiful and cosy and as an 80th birthday celebration for my mum offered absolutely everything we could want and more. Spotless accommodation, lovely breakfast, beautiful surroundings, we would most definitely return.

Just returned from a super break at Cnapan. From a warm and friendly welcome to helping us with parking when we left,we could not have wished for better hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the room was so comfortable we felt really rested. Spotlessly clean and such attention to detail makes The Cnapan a delightful place to stay.

What a beautiful B and B with the most wonderful hosts. Having had the misfortune to suffer a broken shoulder on my first evening in Newport (not at Cnapan) I couldn't have been looked after better. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was stunning and the breakfast was delicious. To top it off they had a GP on hand for a quick check up! Thank you to their daughter. Thank you so much for looking after me. I can highly recommend Cnapan.
