Our stay at the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge 3 weeks ago continues to be the story that we tell over and over to our family & friends. It was truly the highlight of our 16 day trip! We only regret that we didn't spend at least two nights...John & Jill are just amazing hosts. You will not regret it if...

My father and I recently stayed at the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge while traveling on a motorcycle trip through Alaska. Unlike most, our stay there wasn't planned. We just stumbled on it, after seeing a small sign on the highway. Boy, are we glad we did (and that there was availability). What a terrific place. The grounds are beautiful and...

This lodge is beautiful and is run by awesome people. John and Jill make you feel at home from the first minute. They are living their dream, and want to share that. So they like to spend time with you during breakfast ad diner (obviously, if you like that) and they will also share their tools and toys with you....

This is worth the splurge. Given that the price includes a lovely dinner & a very hearty breakfast, after dinner entertainment and that you are in Alaska, the price is quite reasonable. The after dinner ATV ride to the Beaver dam so much fun. John & Jill are knowledgeable hosts & enjoy sharing their stories. My little brother, Cabana Boy,...

A juwel in the wildernis. The best lodge we've ever stayed in the U.S. John and Jill have built a "castle" in a beautiful surrounding, spacy, very clean, organized and guarded by Yukon, the watchdog. Excellent food, nice cabins to stay in with an oven and everything you want! Great place - hope to be back one day!

After driving from Dawson City over the Top of the World Highway, our family was looking for a place near Tok where we could relax for a few nights. We wanted family-friendly accommodations with an outdoor hot tub. At the Log Cabin Wilderness Lodge we discovered a hot tub and much, much more. This lodge goes beyond a place to...

My whole band stayed at the Wilderness Lodge on 4th of July weekend when we came to play at the Tok Independence Day celebration. We had seen pictures in a brochure and knew it would be good, but we were delighted to find it was WAY better than good. The cabin we stayed in had room to sleep four, one...

Easy to find, but still secluded off the main highway away from noise and miles from any neighbors. My family enjoyed using the wood powered hot tub, zipline, and evening/morning hikes on the trails. One of the trails is actually an old deserted highway and provides a couple miles of safe riding/walking with kids (zero traffic), so bring your bikes...

My wife and I stayed at the Log Cabin Wilderness lodge in August (2014) and had a wonderful experience. The scenery was breathtaking, the authentic log cabin accommodations and main lodge have a wonderful touch of wilderness luxury to them. The food was gourmet, and the hosts were cheerful, knowledgeable, and seasoned Alaskans who went that extra mile to make...

Log Cabin Wilderness is just the most fantastic place. It's so peaceful and so beautiful that my only wish like many others is that I could have stayed linger to enjoy the beauty of it all. I was met as I pulled in by Jill and Yukon the family dog, I was given a warm welcome and shown around their...
