Detailed Reviews
Nice place to stay. Nice, clean bathrooms and laundry. Clubhouse, beach and socks are a great addition. The spaces are a little small, but manageable. The internet was a joke! We were barely able to connect. And when we did it would keep dropping the connection. The Wi-Fi was one of the main reasons we chose to stay here, so we were very disappointed.🙁

Our first outing with our travel trailer was to the Colorado River Oasis Resort. The rv park is small, clean, well maintained and hosted by a friendly management team who maintained a quiet environment for all guests. We had our granddaughter with us and she was bored as there is not much to do. The river location was great for fishing but not for swimming. The area in the cove was too shallow for swimming. The river itself had a swift current as we watched jet skis, without their riders, being carried downstream. The RV park is along a busy road. Request a site as far from the street as possible. We were in site #12. Although we could hear the traffic noise it did not keep me awake...and I'm an extremely light sleeper. The resort has a nice clubhouse and exercise room. I enjoyed sitting on the patio behind the clubhouse overlooking the river. We did not use their shower facilities but I did check them out. They were very clean and well-maintained.

Room Tip: Ask for an RV site closer to the river to avoid being near the busy street.

This is a small well run rv park. We spent a week there. Spaces are nice, with a concrete pads and picnic tables. Normal spacing between sites.
Nice, clean bathrooms, showers and laundry room. There is a bit of road noise, but once inside the rv, no problem. Manager was great. Nice place to sit and enjoy the river view.
Close to many things to do and to restaurants. We used the pool and spa, both were clean and nice. If in the area again, we would stay again.

We stayed in a park model for 3 nights which was a minimum. The park model has seen some serious use. It was clean but in disrepair. The mini blinds were bent and wouldn't work. The vertical at the sliding door was missing panels. The floor had some soft spots suspected termite damage. The a/c worked good but was so noisy it sounded like the space shuttle taking off. The bedroom blind wouldn't work. We went to the office and got some foam insulation to put in the window. Otherwise we awoke with the sun in our eyes. It was nice to have a larger refrigerator and the deck was nice for morning coffee. It appeared some other units were not being used for repair issues. Also the boat dock was closed because it needed new deck covering! The manager was pleasant, helpful and apologetic for the condition of things. We won't return!

We just stayed at this gem for six days in September and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The staff are amazing and the level of service we were provided was truly refreshing!! The facilities were impeccable and we cannot wait to go back. Thank you Sharon, Sabrina, Randy and the rest of the staff for making us feel at home in your hidden gem!

We absolutely love this place. Staying in one of the park models with kitchen, it is very nice, has everything we need. River view, quiet. Sabrina in the office is very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Highly recommend and will stay here each time we come to Bullhead.

Employees with an attitude!!!!! Cleaning guy who YELLS in peoples (Guests) face! Have never seen an employee get away with this guys (Randy?) actions. Guess the ownership DOESN’T care!!
Would not recommend this place to anyone!! Very few people work hard there.
Good luck to Colorado River Oasis! Customers are you #1 priority, right or wrong!! Without customers you have NOTHING!!

We stayed at Colorado River Oasis and enjoyed it very much. The restrooms were immaculate, friendly people there. We drove around to view other rv parks and not as nice as this little park. Will definitely return to this park. Also, directly across the street there is a doggie day camp that will also care for them overnight.

Looking at the reviews, out seems they were terrible in 2015. However, they have definitely pleased the family with nice guests, working wifi, and a pool and river access. Definitely not worth looking at the bad reviews because they have changed for the better.

Where do I begin? While the park looks good on the web site and even when you first pull in, it is all smoke and mirrors. We stayed at this park for 3 months only because we had to due to business obligations. Take that map and rules the manger gives you and ball it up and throw it in the trash can because there is no one who enforces these rules once you clear the front gates.
I will start with the pool, it was in the triple digit temps and there is no cover at the pool so you would only want to use it at night, sorry, they lock the gate to the pool at dusk along with the community room where the weight room is at. The only reason for this we could find was that the manager was too lazy to go out and lock it at 10 or 11PM like most parks. There is air conditioning in the weight room but, the park manager, Miranda has the control under lock n key and she will not turn it on unless she sees a reason to. We complained to her that working out in the gym was hazardous due to the heat and no air but, she will only turn it on if she feels the need.
The same goes for the showers. It is so hot in the bathrooms that when you get out of the shower your already sweating. The water has one temp and that is scolding hot. There was a light out in the shower that we asked to have fixed for 3 months and it was never fixed. So your showering in the dark.
You cannot run your air and use the microwave at the same time at this park. It will constantly blow breakers. We had to help a couple who were first time RV’ers with resetting the breaker because Miranda was not around even though she lives there. Don’t expect any help with anything at this park.
Miranda gives you the park rules all of which are not enforced. Great if your looking for a place to let your dog run loose, have loud parties, people double parking everywhere including in your space and fireworks being let off. We brought it to her attention but, it continued. She appears to be a partier herself and doesn’t want to be the bad person. She does give a lot of lip service but no action.
Then there is the river which made you go there in the first place. Forget about launching your boat because the river is always low at the ramp, which in itself is a nightmare to use especially if you have a large boat. If by chance the water is up, you are not supposed to dock your boat for more then one hour but, everyone we saw left their boat docked so you could not use what space there was.
Then there were people who camped out on the boat ramp because there was no beach access to the water. People also left their boats and jets skis in the swimming area because there was no room at the dock and if there was, they thought that since you were not supposed to dock your boat for over an hour, then why not just leave it in the swimming area. Don’t leave your boat or jet ski out over night because the river is so low till around noon that your water toy will be sitting on the ground.
One last thing. There is the issue with their not being truthful in their rates. We chose site #27 because of it’s size. It allows you to park a 40 foot RV and it has room for a boat and vehicle. It is really 2 spaces (refer to the park map between the apartments and the cottages, next to the boat ramp). We were told we would be allowed to have those vehicles on that space on the phone but, when we checked in we were told we would have to pay for boat storage even though it had more then plenty of room at the space for all my vehicles. She said all boats have to pay a storage fee even if it fit on the space. The whole reason for getting that spot was for it’s size. We were told the space would cost $550.00. We ended up paying $600 plus electricity which came to over $700.00 a month. Apparently Miranda makes up the rules as she goes.
Like I said it looks great until your actually there.

They do not rent RV's. They do have full hookups for RVs.
They did have a few motel type rooms for rent. It was a nice place.
