Bathroom sink did not work well. There was no hot water in the sink or shower. Every time the toilet was flushed water flooded the floor. Ice machine for the whole building did not work. Place looked dirty.
This is an honest real review of five stars, and I don't usually do that on a review. I ended up here during a road trip to southern California. My Jeep broke down, or I thought it had, in the Mojave National Preserve. The road I was on is north of Goffs, California. It's fairly remote where I was, traffic is sparse. Please, if you're out in the desert like that, don't leave your car. I was about to take out a folding chair to relax and wait when a lady in a truck came along. She was amazing, offered to drive me into Needles so I could call AAA. AAA is amazing, agreed to send out a tow truck. She waited with me and the tow truck driver hauled me and the Jeep into the Bullhead City Jeep dealership. I didn't get her name, but she told me where she has a place up the road a few miles. I definitely intend to visit. I wish I could give her a review, and the tow truck driver, too. It was late Saturday afternoon and I would have to wait until Monday morning for them to look at my car. I rented a car and drove around looking for a place to stay. I landed at Travelers Inn and it was a great decision. The proprietor, Jesse, put me in a room and I settled in. Later, though, I had to change rooms, through no fault of her own. The second room was better as it was closer closer to the outside door. I have to wear braces on both knees most of the time. I was able to get my car by noon on Monday, Jesse didn't charge any extra for the late check out. She even helped to fill my ice chests. Oh, the room was very clean, plenty of towels, plenty of any temperature water, comfy bed, although I always take my own pillow. I honestly don't remember if the TV was flat screen. I have to add she took very good care of me, called out to me when I was outside, friendly, helpful. I would definitely stay again when I'm in the neighborhood. This is long, I know, but a lot happened in those few hours.…
I itched a good hour when I first got there nasty OLD DUSTY ROOM. I BET THEY HAVEN'T SHAMPOOED THE CARPETS IN YEARS. ASK THEM MAKE THEM SHOW PROOF. COVERS NASTY JUST OLD. Oh if they don't like your review they email you and tell you never come back. Duh I won't so I can break out in hives again. Dusty pillows wash clothes almost black. Nasty nasty old old old
Do not stay here. Very unfriendly and bad attitude. Stopped to see if room available and when tacking my dog out to relieve itself before booking room the person came out yelling about being on her property. Made decision right then and there to move on. Looked old and nasty also.
I booked this room when we made a last minute decision to attend the Laughlin River Run. As a result of the event, everything was booked and this was the only room we could find. Also as you would expect, the rate was considerably above what we would normally be willing to pay for a place of this caliber. When we arrived, the lady working the front desk was very nice, and asked that we give them a positive review. We requested a ground level room with one bed, that was what we got, it also had a small fridge. The room was, over all a bit shabby, though clean. The television worked but was about 10 years old, wifi was adequate. The bathroom needed new flooring. The ice machine was broken. The parking lot needs repair, lots of holes and lots loose gravel, not an issue for cars but definitely not biker friendly. Could also be a problem for someone in a wheelchair or a little unsteady on their feet. Like I said, clean but shabby.…
Made reservation for the wrong weekend due to a miscommunication between my sister and I regarding which weekend funeral services would be held for our aunt in Bullhead City. Called to change date and the manager accused me of lying about my aunt's death. I could not beleve how rude he was! He wanted to charge me for the full 1st night (Jul 22nd 2016) But I insisted it wasn't fair & I was wanting to rebook for the following weekend. So he compromised & said he would only penalize me for 1/2 the rate which was $50 (becuz it was less than 24 hrs b4 check-in). I said ok. After I hung up I thought why should I stay at his hotel at all after he accused me of lying about my aunt's death? So a few days later I decided to cancel the 2nd reservation (b4 the 24 hour time period) & he charged our card the full $100!! What a JERK!! I wouldn't stay at Traveler's Inn if it was the last and only hotel with available rooms. They would only be available because it is such a crappy place to start with, according to the other reviews! I would rather sleep in my car! Hey Mr. Manager enjoy my $100, it's only money & worth it to know I will never EVER book a room at your crappy establishment! By the way my husband & I decided to make our trip to the funeral service a day trip and not bother with overnight. The End of a very educational story!…
When you drive up to it, everything looks OK, but walk inside and yech. The first thing to hit you is a the smell ( kind of when you walk into an old musky dank basement). The lobby ( if you can call it that)and check-in reminded me of a old caged tellers counter in a bank.. I have to disagree with another reviewer. the bed was somewhat better than the sidewalk. At least no-one would step on you sleeping in these beds. Find somewhere else to stay
I was coming back from a funeral in Iowa. I-15 was closed due a fire so I figured we could get a room in Laughin where I stayed many times before, but they were booked up. The rain began to pour there was floods every where. Everything was booked in Bullhead City. So I finally I found this place called Travelers Inn. My son and I were soaking wet depressed about my Mother dying and need a place to stay for the night because everything was flooded. I ask the price it was $119 plus tax. I was floored but my little son needed a place to stay so what could we do, they were gouging me because of the situation. The place was a dump Ice machine wouldn't work, no shampoo, too many things wrong with it to mention. It should against the law what they did to us looking back on it we should stay in my car all night It would have been better.…
The rooms are horrible, smelly. The beds are the worst I have slept on I would rather sleep on the sidewalk. The was NO cold water, the ice machine was broken, and there was only an old nickel, dime, and quarter Pepsi machine which did not accept dollar bills, management was rude and we will never come again.
I hate to say it, but Travelers Inn is a dump. Not well maintained. The outside, in front, is just okay......but the back is a dump. You can see field mice running around, stray cats everywhere, screens aren't kept up and torn out of most of the windows. Smelly. Cheap, but not worth it. The extreme highway noise, is deafening, especially considering there is an average of 4-6 sirens each day...no lie. Lots of accidents seem to happen in Bullhead City, AZ with all the elderly, from other states, that don't know how to drive or who are too scared to drive. Lots of drunk drivers leaving the Casinos in Laughlin, doesn't help either. There are much better places to lay your head. I'd sleep in my car before I would ever stay at Travelers Inn again. Just being honest.
