The lobby is just beautiful and it was delightful to sit in the comfy leather furniture listening to local talent who played easy listening music throughout the evening (piano, sax, vocal). Our room happened to be the one renovated by Hotel Impossible in 2013, but shows a bit of wear & tear over 3 years. When we checked out the...

What a beautiful place. Great staff, great food and outstanding margaritas! Highly recommend. It is well worth the drive from Phoenix. It's hard to believe this beautiful place was built in 1907. We loved the history and small museum on site.

This hotel built in 1907 is in the process of being renovated. The lobby and first floor of rooms are complete to date. We enjoyed the nice but old fashioned room we stayed in. The staff were friendly and the restaurant and bar were good and very reasonably priced. Since the hotel is only a few blocks from the border...

The lobby is gorgeous! Cannot be described as it must be experienced!!! We have stayed there more than once on fun trips through that part of Arizona.... This hotel is very historic and it has been kept that way. There is so much that is original. It is fun to be there. They have a restaurant and a bar in...

When we checked in, we were given Room 333 and told that it was the most haunted room in the hotel. Even one of the staff told us that she felt queasy in that room. However, we didn't notice anything haunting and slept well, even though the haunting occurs more during Lent, as I read on-line afterwards. Guess one had...

The reception area is magnificent and certainly makes an impression. Sadly the rest of what we saw did not have the same impact. The rooms are sparse and badly furnished, even a little dirty. We arrived on a Sunday and the bar and restaurant were closed as were most restaurants in town, so we didn't even stay the night, checked...

It was clean and staff were friendly and accommodating. This place is a jewel from decades gone by. We only stayed one night, as we were passing through. We chose a room in the old section, which has not been renovated. Breakfast in their restaurant was very good. Would return.

The reviews and pictures describing the interior of the hotel show how fantastic it is ... they even have three original phone booths ! We walked around the hotel, and had a late lunch in their dining room. Immediate friendly service, clean and well appointed dining area, chips and salsa, with attentive service. It was quite busy and the servers...

Loved the lobby, the grand staircase and the fact that the hotel tried to maintain the historic feel of the building. The dining room was lovely, the staff attentive and pleasant and the food was extremely good. The only negative was the bathtub was slippery and didn't have safety bars.

The lobby is impressive with its marble staircase and stained glass wall and ceiling. Lots of old world charm there. (with the exception of the gas fireplace) The room we stayed in was a very nice size with 2 queen beds and it was clean. The room was cold in late February but there was a portable electric radiator/heater in...
