I was going to happily stay at a dated motor lodge for a low price. Upon entering and sitting on the bed, it became clear that it was not satisfactory. The beds were low and uncomfortable. There were bottle caps and debris in all corners of the very old and smelly carpet. The room had clearly not been cleaned. The...

Yes we are an older motel, I do pride myself on how clean we keep the place. We are in the woods and near several lakes and hiking areas. I was very unhappy to hear that one of our guests was not happy with their stay.. I did give her a refund and asked her to show me the room...

An average hotel but very clean...a bit dated but we were meeting family at campground so this was someplace to sleep. Staff was exceptional...very friendly and informative. Would stay here again if I needed to without any hesitation....hotel just needs to be updated and this would be perfect....

Only two hours from the metastasizing sprawl of Greater Phoenix, Rim Country still manages to be pretty country. If you don't have a fifth-wheel/Winnebago/pup tent/private cabin, the Forest Lakes Lodge is for you. Rooms are simple, neat and easily accessible. Staff is friendly and attentive. Forest Lakes is 15 miles closer to a lot of the Rim attractions (trails, lakes)...

Wanted to tent camp, but glad we didn't due to very cold temps, so desided to stay in local lodge. Price was great, staff was friendly, but room was like staying at a Motel 6. Clean room but bed was uncomfortable, like springs poking through some spots and hard as a rock in the rest of spots, all 3 pillows...

We have stayed in this motel numerous times for fly-fishing trips on the Mogollan Rim. It is the most convenient for getting to Chevlon Creek/Lake. This time we went up for one night and used this as a home base for 2 days of ATVing. The motel has great location for getting on the forest service roads. You can park...

I took a trip up to Forest Lakes just to get away from the Phoenix city heat. The manager is extremely polite and very helpful. Room price was by far the cheapest I had found from payson to show low. The lobby was very nicely decorated with an old style cash register and an old working telephone just to name...

After reading several previous reviews of this "lodge" I was leery of choosing to stay there, but it is the closest place on top of the Mogollon Rim to all of the Rim Lakes in the area. When making my reservation, the desk clerk was very congenial and helpful, informing me of amenities in the area. After checking other lodging...

We stayed here recently. The manager was friendly. The room was old. The carpet in the room was filthy, so filthy that walking on it with white socks on resulted in said socks turning black on the bottom. I can't remember the last time that happened at a motel. Yuck. There was plentiful hot water, so no complaints there. Also...

We spend a few days here...first impression, lobby has a strong cigarette odor.. 2nd impression, very nice owners who were accommodating throughout. Room: room was clean, basic, t.v. was on a bracket very high on the wall (like in hospitals) so it was hard to watch if you like lying on your stomach on the bed. There was a fridge...
