We stayed in Sam's Cabin, and it was cozy and comfortable. There is no wifi anywhere nearby, so be warned! The price seemed a little high, but we couldn't beat the proximity to the North Rim entrance to the Grand Canyon. Our cabin was very clean, but maybe could have used a little updating. Overall, it was wonderful to feel... More

Our softball team played in the Huntsman Games in Utah so we try to coordinate some fun along with playing softball. We decided to hike the North Rim of the Grand Canyon so we booked 2 cabins at Kaibab Lodge. A wonderful experience with two rustic, primitive cabins, each with the ability to sleep 4. Upon arrival we had a... More

Stayed here on a short visit to North Rim Grand Canyon. I read the reviews on TA prior to reserving and some reviews were average. They spoke of the beds being poor and the rooms being OK. I wanted to stay here for the atmosphere, solitude and beauty surrounding this place. And that's exactly what we got! We did not... More

If you can't get into the Grand Canyon Lodge at the North Rim, and you're not willing to camp out, this is your fall back. There is no other competition to speak of, and it shows. There is no phone (your cell phone will be reduced to telling you the time and little else because there is no satellite coverage,... More

Your choices are limited when planning to stay close to the north rim. Kaibab Lodge has the advantage of being significantly closer than Jacobs Lake. That is its only advantage. The Lodge is located right off the main road to the rim and looks over a beautiful meadow. This is a remote region and there is no wifi nor could... More

there are only 3 places at the North Rim (Grand Canyon Lodge, Jacob Lake and Kaibab Lodge), this is a good compromise (distance to NatPark, Price, availability) for staying at the North Rim. We had a spacious, clean, quiet room in one of the newer cabins, well equipped. This is really a peaceful place : very quiet at night, with... More

The lodge and cabins are very rustic but adequate. The best thing for us was the location, just 16 miles from the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Pay the extra for the Aspen grove view cabins, they are larger and right on the meadow. Comfy front porch to watch the deer stroll across every day. They have a community... More

If you are looking for rustic, this is the place. Could have got this place wrong I supose but one night was more than enough. Stayed the on the thursday prior to labour weekend, now weather the prices were inflated or not I coud only guess they were. Our chalet resembled a poor version of the featured photos. We payed... Twice in the night the heater made an enormous racket and woke us up. We were in B building. A water bug greeted us in the morning. The toilet seat was dirty. And at dinner the chicken sandwich was served cold. ( not cooked). The waitress tried to fix it and the 2nd one came cooked but tasteless like a... More

I'm not sure why this place gets such poor reviews, because we were really happy with our time there. We stayed there for one night with the intention of hiking out to the South Rim from the North. We took a Trans Canyon Shuttle and arrived at 5pm, so of course we were hungry. We dumped our bags in Cabin... More
