The hostel is in a really convenient location for the beach and the outdoor facilities are great. They often light a fire and you are able to bring your own food and have a barbeque. The inside facilities are basic, with only one toilet per floor and very little space in the dorms- if they were full. But overall a...

That was a great stay! Located right next to the main street, very nice and friendly staff. Was kind of like staying with friends! A Braai every night when the weather is fine. Nothing to complain, just to recommend!

The hostel is very well located, with good staff and dorms. They are worried to light up the fire every evening and you can braai (barbecue) if you bring your own meat. It was a veeeeery good place to stay!!!! I travelled during 33 days in South Africa and i do recommend that hostel. The only problem is: as ALL...

In my opinion the best hostel i stayed during my holidays in South Africa. I really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere in the garden. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Shops, supermarket, ATM and restaurants are just around the corner. Plettenberg Bay seems to be a safe place. We (2 male people) had no fears of walking around when it...

Had an awesome stay at the backpackers. Very cosy and great facilities. Bathrooms and kitchens are clean and neat. They light a bonfire in the evening which is great for a braai or to chill at. The bar has daily specials.

Albergo is all you want out of a hostel during a chilled out break. The braii is lit every night giving everyone the chance to mingle in a chilled out setting. The owner is absolutely fantastic and welcoming. There was a mix up with Expedia where they advertised a camping spot (without a tent) as a twin room. All the...

Stayed two nights at Albergo. It is in the heart of Plett - we parked our car and did not move it until we left; we were able to walk everywhere. The rooms are neat and clean, with plenty of plug space for chargers, etc. The bathrooms are small, but kept very clean (they are cleaned daily). The communal area...
