I was booked at Bitou River Lodge for overnight accommodation on a business trip. I was going to get there quite late so I called the place en-route to advise them of this. The response from Sue was really awesome. She really assisted me wonderfully and having mentioned I would be arriving late and leaving early, she took the effort...

We had a wonderful stay in this quiet place. The birds and river setting make it a lovely place to stay. Our hosts were helpful and hospitable. Breakfast was magnificent. The use of canoe was an added bonus.

A small set of building on river shore, lawns and trees, kind welcome and relaxing atmosphere. Sue, our hostess, is really helpful, does your restaurants booking and chooses the good ones. The rooms are comfortable, (shower could be wider), and the bird life is impressive (lots of KnysnaTuracos). Good breakfast served indoor (would be good to have choice of outdoor...

A Warm and romantic stay with delicious food, excellent service and such friendly and welcoming owners/staff. Relaxing next the beautiful river amongst the green garden, napping in the hammock or adventuring down the river on canoes, Bitou River Lodge will see us again!
