The Plettenberg hotel was our 2nd stop in South Africa. We were given a beautifully appointed suite with spectacular views as an upgrade for our honeymoon and my husband's birthday. There was no breakfast buffet as hotel was quiet but they gave us a lovely platter instead which along with our hot breakfast. We ate in the hotel restaurant on...

We went with hubby end of august for a retreat..good welcoming staff. Very professional. Rooms beautiful.attention to detail Stunning views. Breakfast fit for a king! The only disappointment was that the spa seems to have one therapist and she was on leave with no stand in.so we could not have our spa treatments... Otherwise excellent hotel.would Def recommend it!

At some point, my daughter reminded us that it was our wedding anniversary. We decided to have our kids get room service...
