The best place for relaxing and enyoing the wildlife. Magnus ist very friendly and take care of all your wishes. Also the meals were delicious. The rooms are clean and very exclusive. Your day starts with a relaxed breakfast and ends with the sounds of wildlife in best location. We definitely would stay there again!

If you're going by buzbus do not choose this place as it's 'far' out from the city center (not in walking distance ). They offer a shuttle to all the activities and the city itself but I found that to be rather pricy!! The dorm and the bathrooms were clean but rather basic. They cooked us food which was tasty... We first visited nearly 3 years ago and were happy to find it just as chilled and friendly this time around. Basic backpackers a short drive out of town (down a gravel road but our little rental car managed fine!) with incredible views of the valley and lovely outdoor areas with a bar, fire pit and braai. The owners are... More

This backpackers had a lovely view and outside area as well as as a cosy living room space with a fire burning every night. The dorm was fine, spacious and always clean. It was slightly annoying having to get shuttles everywhere, so if you don't have your own car be aware of that! Very friendly staff also!

We had a really nice stay at african array. The people are really friendly and helpfull. Besides that, the food is amazing! And then lets talk about the view. Sunset on the terrace with a drink and a fire. It was so beautiful. They can book you some activities if you want or give you some advise. We stayed in... More

A very cosy accommondation just outside of Plettenberg Bay. The view is amazing, and the staff is friendly and nice:) We can also recommend the bar & food there. Its a good place for backpackers, and others that will be social and meet new people. The road is a bit bumby, but with an gps its easy to find. There... More

The place was simply neglected. we stayed in a double bed room. the room was small, old, and smalled bad. the windows could not be opened. bed sheets were old and didn't smell well. we've had to share a shower with other rooms and it was pretty gross. the shower was not clean and I felt disgusting using it. The... More

Thank you for your review. However I feel that it is a bit unfare to break down a really good hostel in the way you have. After receiving your responce and had another review simalar to your and from guest who stayed in the same room we had to do a investigation into the matter. What we found was that... More

African Array is amazing. Homey atmosphere - the staff is friendly, I felt like family. The cottage rustic design so beautiful, mouth watering food, gorgeous view a bonus. I loved the place - definitely going back.

On Arrival we weren't sure wether the staff was high or not, acting strange and we had to look for our own reservation in THEIR files. The establishment was very dirty and not well maintained. Bathroom was to disgusting to use and we didn't sleep under the sheets that they gave us because they were so dirty. Booked a room... More

Beautiful spot, nice to spend one or some nights. Very helpful manager. Not the best spot if you want to have some quality time with just your partner but that's not what a backpackers' about. We drove to Storms River Mouth the one day (so beautiful!) and robberg panentula the next morning. Unfortunately to misty to enjoy the views.
