This is a nice friendly hotel with excellent staff, and the rooms are spacious with all mod cons. Breakfast was good. It does normally serve lunch or dinner but can do, and did do, on request. Location is not the best and the neighbourhood did not look 100% safe. Also underneath the flight path into PLZ. Still for a night...

Efficient staff. Rooms are outside reception and breakfast area so in bad weather could get wet traveling between, however the room and bathroom apart from taking a suite was one of the largest we have had. The bathroom was enormous. Wifi was very good. Their sister hotel Number 5 had an excellent dining room a short taxi ride away.

This place is the perfect serene getaway right near the beachfront in PE. The styling was calming, service incredibly helpful and breakfast was made to order. The upgraded room is worth it for lots of space and a private roof area. Fantastic for a couples getaway!

Very nice property a block off the beach. However it seems to be right in the flight pattern of one of Pt Eliz airport runways, so occasional LOUD jet noise. Our heat/AC unit would not work when we closed the windows/doors; when reported to evening management, they checked it out and said they could do nothing until morning. Not even...

The Windermere has just been revamped, and is now managed by the Mantis Collection. The location is great, the rooms are enormous and welee appointed. The staff are eager to please. Some of the rooms have views over the sea. Best of all for me was the fact that there was very little noise at night. I would recommend for...

We arrived close to dinner time and had an early flight the next morning so didn’t really get the most out of this hotel. We really liked it. Unassuming from the outside, but the rooms and bathrooms were absolutely enormous and very well equipped. When we checked in, we were offered tea and coffee. Nonni was very welcoming and since...

We arrived and didn't know what to expect of the neighborhood as it was our first exposure to SA from the US. We were able to park in a garage in the back of the building and proceeded to walk into a real oasis. The rooms were enormous along with the bathrooms. We had a nice meal before dropping off....

Me and my partner came here for 3 nights, 22-25th May. This was our first stop in South Africa. We wasn't too sure on what to expect. But I can honestly say, it was amazing! I would totally recommend it. Our room was beautiful and to say it is spacious is an understatement. All of the staff within the resort were...

After flying down from Joburg to PE, we stayed in this hotel for one night before setting off on a road-trip along the Garden Route. PE itself was an interesting experience and we spent a nice afternoon exploring the city. I'm not sure I would come back, but it's a good little stop-over when travelling to/from the Garden Route. I...

I booked into The Windemere Hotel during a recent visit to PE. My decision was based on the preference of frequenting unique hotels instead of mainstream franchises, and offcourse, the general consensus of Tripadvisor. I arrived late and was warmly welcomed by the night staff and security. I found the hotel ambience warm and professional. The my room was big...
