I do a lot of work on Navajo land. As an outsider, it can be a strange place. Chain hotels here are crazy high priced and there aren't many. Monument Valley is awesome but the resort is expensive as hell. Kayenta is a quiet all Dine town, hotels are over $100 for basic. This place is the answer people don't...

There are trailer homes that are rented out. There are hotel rooms available. Rates are very reasonable, $59.63. Toilets don't flush well at all,TV not too clear, and Cold rooms, wall heat wasn't cutting it. Very old place. If you don't mind that, it is alright. A homeless lady has been living outside of the facility since last fall. We...

Reserving our accommodataion the night before our stay, we could not get anything at the ‘better’ hotels and this place still had a room left. The hotel is just next to a small canyon. The hotel rooms are situated in huge trailers (one corridor, rooms on either side) , so it is not a solid building and the rooms have...

We did not have reservations at the "nice" places, and this was the only place that had one room left, when we did not want to spend the night in our vehicle. The room was a step back to the 1950's, with the basic necessities. The room was clean, and the meals in the eatery were well prepared and fairly...

Very clean, including rags. However, I felt like I was in a "man camp." Interior walkway on 1 floor with doors on either side. Shower head was pathetic and I REALLY needed a good shower after 16 days in the Grand Canyon! Room was Night light didn't work and phone ring was very soft. TV very fuzzy. I called on...

I booked the hotel about 2 months before the arrival and then read all reviews from here. I was traveling from Moab Utah area wanting to spend a night at Monument Valley area. I didn't want to pay too much because it was just going to be 7-8 hour stay. The place was way cleaner and unique than other people...

I called ahead several days and made a reservation for a end room with a king or two fulls. I was told OK, my credit card number was taken and I was given a conformation number. When I arrived I was given a single full size bed in the middle. People were smoking on the sidewalk and it was noisy...

I have been driving past this little roadside motor inn for over 20 years. For the first time ever, it fit into our schedule to stay the night. I have stopped many times for Navajo tacos at the adjoining diner. I love them, though they might not pass rigorous urban food-truck, gourmet scrutiny. They are what they are and I...

The Anasazi Inn has a beautiful location in "the middle of nowhere" and has so much potential, but the poor quality of the rooms made it a disappointing stop on our road trip. First of all, prepare to be isolated... no wifi, no cell service, five channels on the TV. It's the only business along this stretch of highway. The...

Before you make a judgement based on the negative reviews here, please take into account that this place is located in an area where you hardly see any building. A room costs only $50 and you cannot expect Ritz for that price. The rooms are old and not very big but more than adequate for a one night stop-over. The...
