Without doubt my favourite hotel in South Africa. Marc and Anneke are wonderful hosts and we wish we could have stayed longer. Two nights is not long enough as the St Francis bay coastline is stunning, especially compared with the distinctly average Jeffreys Bay round the corner. Anneke's breakfasts are outstanding!! Go and see the penguin sanctuary near the lighthouse...

We had a great stay at this B&B. The rooms were neat and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It is located in the heart of the village next to two shopping centers and restaurant and is also located close to the beach. The host family is absolutely lovely and nice. Their breakfast was delicious and they gave us great...

The location is great, walking distance from beach, shops and restaurants (2min average). The room decor was quirky but ventilation was a problem in our small room. The big balcony is a bonus for those who appreciate the outdoors, I do wish the room had a small bar fridge. Overall the breakfast is good, Wifi is strong and the area...

Sandriver Lodge feels like home - the beautiful and creative garden, the simple but lovely rooms, and most of all the wonderful hosts, Marc & Anneke. We loved spotting the baby owl from our balcony! Lovely breakfasts from Anneke and friendly company and a wealth of local knowledge from Marc. We'll definitely be back.

Your hosts Marc and Anneke are just perfect and can not do enough to make your stay perfect. Breakfasts are wonderful and there is nothing Marc does not know about the area and how to get the most out of your holiday. The room was wonderfully comfortable and the garden this lovely pair have created over 20 years from driftwood...

Really enjoyed our stay here - a lovely bnb/apartment rental owned by a very nice couple, close to restaurants and things to do but quiet and secluded. Just a few minutes walk to stunning views over the water. We would gladly stay here again, and wish we had more time on this visit. Oh - and the omelet at breakfast...

The Sandriver Lodge is a place to relax and it´s really a "Place to be" when looking for an individuel B&B. A beautiful garden and a really nice breakfast outdoor area. Anneke brings the breakfast also to the rooms if the weather is a bit uncomfortable for outdoor breakfasts. Friendly, helpful staff, Good and big breakfast. And Marc gives the...

If you are travelling arround the area of Jeffrey's Bay, do consider to drive a few minutes further to St. Francis Bay: A peaceful town with a beautiful beach. Even though this place is a bit more expensive than other places in South Africa, St. Francis Bay is much nicer than Jeffrey's Bay. The Sandriver Lodge is perfectly located in...

My friends and I stayed at Sandiver for just one night on our way down the Garden Route. It's such a lovely spot, the rooms are individually decorated with a quirky, beach-house theme. Close to the beach and shops, and a delicious fresh breakfast served by the friendly hosts made it a perfect stopover.

A friend and I stayed at Sandriver Lodge for only one night (unfortunately) during our travels from Cape town to Port Elizabeth in January 2015. The room was spacious, cool, clean and conducive to relaxation. It had some nautical themed decoration and everything you would possibly need. It also had a small kitchenette, microwave etc, bathroom and two bedrooms. We...
