Dear Misty Mountain Reserve, My fiancé and I visited your establishment for a day, and wow was it beautiful. The road is in such a good condition. The David Lane trail was so beautiful and well maintained through the indigenous forest, the rock pools was so refreshing. After the trail we had lunch in the restaurant and the food was...

we spend a few days at Misty Mountain Reserve. What a great place to stay, stunning views, great comfortable accommodation, and really friendly helpful staff. the only down side was the condition of the gravel road, that you need to travel on to get to Misty mountain. We have a 4x4 vehicle and this road was still a uncomfortable drive.

We booked a Luxury Tent for our 2 night stay. But thanx to Henry for moving us to the Honeymoon Chalet named Ostrich which was very spacious with a view to die for. The corner spa bath and fireplace made the room even better and homey and was thorougly utilised. The staff was friendly and ever so helpful. Also the...

Misty mountain is very close to Tsitsikamma, although you need to drive quite some kilometers first. Very nice with view on the ocean. I recommend to have dinner in Storms River, as the menu is quite limited (several dishes were not available) & dinner "à la carte" was not possible.

We stayed for one night in April 2016. The staff were fantastic and we received a very warm welcome. Our room (the Zebra Room) was comfortable , but the décor is a little outdated. We had an evening meal in the restaurant, which was very average and quite pricey too.

Our party of 2 families stayed here in March 2016 while exploring the Garden Route. The accommodation was both charming and comfortable. Our shabby chic self-catering house was equipped with everything we needed, including firewood. We sampled the restaurant food and cooked for ourselves during our stay. The steak served at dinner was probably the best I've had during our entire...

Dear Reviewed by mandl14 Our rustic farm cottages are very popular for families travelling together. Thank you for the lovely comments about the shabby chic décor, the original farm doors and wood have been used to create the nostalgic time worn furniture in the cottage. I will certainly pass on your compliment to the chef about the best steak you...

I booked online with physically seeing the place in person and without any referral. So imagine my surprise when I found a huge luxury tented house with the most comfortable of beds, a view that put us instantly at rest and staff and food that need to be complimented!
