From the bedding, bath gowns, lighting and turn-down service, everything about our stay was comfortable. Also great in-room dining. My only complaint is the location: Melrose Arch is great for business trips and conferences, but not recommended for couples/family.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights whilst in the area on business the surrounding area was safe. The hotel picked me up from the airport and took me back in a nice C class mercedes. My room was on the second floor spacious and plenty of room. Tea & Coffee in room with biscuits . There was large...

Took our son for his 18th Birthday. Private dinning room, assigned waitor. Food was magnificent, starter, main and dessert. Top quality. First class. Would recommend to everyone. Decor is lovely. Friendly staff from front desk to bar area. Felt welcomed and comfortable.

Had breakfast in Saturday with my daughter. Despite being quite on arrival the staffs were present and attentive. Service was great and the buffet plentiful. Ordered some salmon benedict and the eggs were poached to perfection. A true treat not to be missed

Established in an excellent location, I was pleased when I first arrived. Greeted by friendly doormen, our check-in was seamless. They even had candy in the lobby for sweet snacking. Upon being escorted to our room (tips are appreciated), we were given a personal tour of the room. We were very pleased. A hidden safe, DVD movies, DVD player, and...

Extremely nice hotel to stay in Melrose, I must say even better than the protea hotel next door. Staff is perfect, rooms are spacious. Only thing to be improved is that hotel doesn't have its own fitness, you must use the fitness next door (no big deal) and pay for it (big deal). Still, a place to recommend unless you...

I have been in Africa now for about 7 months, working in Nigeria. I had to get to Jo'Burg on business last December and asked my business partners to book me a comfortable hotel that was close to their office. They recommended the Africa Pride in Melrose Arch and I am so glad they did. Flew in on the red...

I love this not hotel and try to stay here anytime I visit Johannesburg. The area is vibrant with restaurants, pubs, and shopping all around. It is one of the safest areas of the city. It is pricey and the staff are not the best.

Have stayed here twice on business now. The staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to ensure that you have an excellent stay. I have held a couple of events here, the room is a great auditorium. Food and drinks are superb. I look forward to staying here again and I highly recommend it. Thanks.
